CHILD ACTIVITIES ROOM
Parents in a CCBA exercise area or program can take
advantage of our Child Activities Room (C.A.R.) for children ages 6 weeks through the completion of second
grade. The C.A.R. is a nurturing and safe place for your
youngster to play and socialize. Infants up to 12 months
may stay for a maximum of 90 minutes. Children over a
year old may stay for a maximum of two hours. In order
to provide a safe and fun environment for your child,
we limit the number of youngsters who are in the C.A.R.
This is based on the number and ages of children needing care. Since the C.A.R. operates on a drop-in basis,
noreservationsaretaken.Foreveryone’sbenefit,we
may refuse to admit a child because of illness or behavioral problems. When Lebanon Schools are cancelled,
the C.A.R. will not be open. If Lebanon Schools have a
delay, the room will open at it’s regular time. New members, plan time to have an orientation to the C.A.R. on
yourfirstvisit.

cardio! You have a knowledgeable instructor, with great music,
teaching a motivating ride helping you focus, work, and push
yourself in a way that you just wouldn’t on your own or even with
a group of friends when riding outside. Later, you can take this
focus and effort back outside and find that your strength, endurance and enjoyment of outside riding has increased. “Music is
our medicine. The bike our drum …. and the sweat, work and effort our song.” Carve out time for yourself every week and join us
for an indoor cycling class … you’ll be a stronger outdoor cyclist
for it!

PRESCHOOL 2 YRS - PRE K
SEPTEMBER 2016 - MAY 2017
Preschoolers strengthen their social skills and learn how to compromise, be respectful of others and problem solve.
They also explore, gain a sense of self and build confidence. These are the stepping stones to your child’s future.
Children are exposed to many learning foundations and are encouraged to develop skills at their own pace. Our
Preschool Program teachers have been with us for many years. This gives them the chance to forge strong
relationships with children and their families as they move through our programs.

What The Parents Say About
Our Preschool ...
“I can’t say enough good things about the CCBA
preschool! Not only does our son love attending, but
my husband and I have seen so much development
in his language, social skills and independence since
enrolling him last year. The teachers are incredible
and cultivate a fun, safe and educational environment!” - Jamie
“The flexible programming has worked very well for
our family. I have a great option if I need my daughter to stay for lunch or the afternoon and she loves
to stay! The performances the classes do are great.
The children are so excited to share what they have
learned and being in front of an audience is so valuable.” - Brooke
“I expected my son to take a couple of weeks to
adjust to his new preschool, but it didn’t even take
him one day. He is learning new things, making new
friends and all the while feeling safe and comfortable. When I step briefly into the room I can sense
the warm and caring climate that is created by the
teachers!” - Marie
Have fun at the CCBA!
Our after school program is for all Upper Valley children
in grades K-2. Our goal is to provide a safe, nurturing
and fun environment where children can unwind after
their school day. Children participate in outdoor play,
games, arts & crafts, swim time and special activities.

Pickleball is a sport played on a badminton-sized court with
the net lowered to 34 inches at the center. Players use wood or
composite paddles about twice the size of ping-pong paddles and
a perforated plastic ball similar to a whiffle ball. It’s very easy for
beginners to learn, but can be a fast-paced, competitive game
for experienced players. Pickleball can be played as singles or
doubles. No special apparel is needed, just something comfortable
and appropriate for a court sport. Fun for all ages!
