Just Short of Perfect
Series of (4) Four Day Orthodontic Seminars
Meet the Orthodontic Marketing Master
The JSOP Course
In the words of Dr. Roncone, “Much more is possible
than the majority of orthodontists believe. The
trick is achieving enjoyment and financial return
while working fewer hours without compromising
excellent treatment.”
JSOP® (Just Short of Perfect) offers a complete,
integrated approach to practice management. This
one-year personalized program consisting of (4),
four-day group sessions is held at Dr. Roncone’s
meeting facility in Vista, CA. Topics include clinical
treatment, business management and marketing
and sales.
Known as the Management/Marketing Guru of
Orthodontics, Dr. Ron Roncone has his sights on
changing the way you look at your practice. While
pioneering many orthodontic innovations, such
as long intervals between patient appointments
(now today’s standard) - Dr. Roncone has taught
over 1,000 seminars worldwide on how to help
other orthodontists realize the full potential of
their practice.
Dr. Roncone can help orthodontists achieve greater
efficiency, profitability and satisfaction from their
practice. Whether it’s overcoming the “burnout
plateau” of established practices, finding where
a new practice fits in the marketplace or working
less to achieve more, Dr. Roncone will give you the
knowledge you need to thrive in orthodontics.
JSOP also includes an in-depth analysis of
your practice so that Dr. Roncone can develop
personalized solutions for your specific practice.
The ongoing benefit of the year-long program is the
close associations that evolve as you work with other
orthodontists with similar problems. We’ve achieved
something unique in the orthodontic profession and
welcome your inquiries to determine if JSOP is right
for you.

Discover the Fortune Hidden in Your Practice
COURSE SUMMARY
Within six months, a typical JSOP participant can
increase their revenue by $55,000. That’s not a
typo. The modern orthodontic practice has many
moving parts. From the clinical treatment to staff
training to sales and marketing, and each is integral
to running a successful practice. Yet even the most
talented orthodontist can struggle with the nonclinical aspects of practice management. It is not
enough to be good at management or marketing or
clinical areas, you must be good at ALL of them. Dr.
Roncone will show you how!

SESSION 2: Clinical Systems I
Efficient clinical systems have become absolutely
integral to the JSOP quality practice. Every practice
must have a tooth-by-tooth philosophy of care for the
entire mouth, not just a cookbook treatment method.
We must know what every prescription is and why we
use it, which in turn makes results predictable every
time. Through this course, we will carefully reanalyze
your orthodontic technique, which in turn will develop
your practice’s procedures into consistent, stable
treatment plans.

Session 3: Clinical System II (4-Day Course)
Although technology has evolved at an incredible pace,
everything we do clinically for our patients must begin
and end with proper diagnosis and treatment planning.
This session explores the Roncone Module, a proven
checklist method for clinical examination, diagnosis and
treatment. The Roncone Prescription will demonstrate
how you can achieve superb results with minimum of
effort using DENTSPLY GAC’s self-ligating systems, such
as In-Ovation® R, C, L, and MTM® No•Trace™ System.
We’ll also learn the “real” reason for early treatment,
and don’t be surprised if it’s not what you expect.
Additionally, the role of T.M.J. in orthodontic treatment
will be examined, as well as practical methods to deal
with T.M.J./M.P.D. problems.

Session 4: Orthodontic Practice Marketing,
Enrollment & Communication (4-Day Course)
If orthodontists ever needed an absolute marketing
course, it is now. This is more than just flashy giveaways
and “muffin runs”. It means a specific plan.
• Who and where is your desired market?
• How do you position your practice for long term
success?
• What will your internal and external marketing plan
look like?
• After patients have arrived at your office, how do you
convert them into starts?
• What is the proper role of a treatment coordinator?
• And most importantly how do we best communicate
EVERYTHING we do to our patients, parents and
referral sources?
After this session, you will be able to answer every one
of these questions and more with complete confidence
and certainty.
