Artistic Director Alex Garday is thrilled to announce the extension and expansion of one of the theater’s hallmark shows, “VAMP: A Music Comedy Drinking Show.” Beginning March 6, VAMP will perform on Fridays and Saturdays at 10:30 p.m. VAMP is a short form musical improv show in the style of “Who’s Line is it, Anyway” where everyone is Wayne Brady. Every performance features a four­piece house band, Doc McCullough & The Vampers. ​

are on sale now ($15 General, $10 Student). MCL Chicago is a BYOB theater. “The show has been growing steadily since it’s debut in October,” says Garday. “With four sold out shows in the last six weeks it’s clear the word is out about VAMP and the demand is there for two shows a week. MCL Chicago, and furthermore VAMP, features the highest caliber of musical comedy performers Chicago has to offer all trained from the major comedic institutions.
