Introduction
If you are looking into hiring a live performer for your next event, you may want to
consider hiring a qualified, experienced musician. Through this manual I will provide a way
for people to get to know me as an individual and as a musician, in hopes of attracting more
clients and performances.

Biography
My name is Stephanie Moreno I was born and raised in Dallas and raised in Grand Prairie TX. l am
currently enrolled as a junior at the University of North Texas, with my studies in vocal
Concentration with Music Education and Criminal Justice.
Growing up I was a very involved student I took part in many extra-curricular activities: karate,
tennis, soccer, swim team, science, French and debate club, great Texas scholars, musical theatre,
choir and other outside musical ensembles. Although music is my true passion, I love learning about
different things which is why I was always so involved. My parents always pushed me to do what I
loved the most and to work at improving my skill; luckily by the time I was in high school I had truly
discovered my truest passion which is singing. Since then I have been involved in numerous
musical presentations and have received recognition and awards for my work. I’ve had to work
very hard by practicing every day, but it has all been truly worth it. It’s a great feeling to know that
when you truly dedicate your time and dedication things will work themselves out for the best in
achieving your goals. Through my musical journey I have had the great blessing of having
supportive family members, peers and teachers, whom have pushed me to do my best as well as
provide helpful resources and guidance. With My experiences at UNT I’ve had the ability of getting
to work as one of NTTV’s news reporters and Radio DJ at KNTU FM 88.1 The One jazz station. I have
also had the pleasure of belonging to the LULAC organization, the Women’s Chorus and UNT’s very
own Mariachi Aguilas. Music has led me to opportunities in judging and teaching at mariachi
competitions, workshops and camps. Music has been such a big part of my life and I hope to
continue in this great path and teach many others about music Mexican music and culture. My goals
in the future consist of attending Law school and continue to grow as a musician.

I have had the great honor of being able to meet great Latin American artists like Michael
Salgado, Angelica Valle and other television personalities. Through mariachi, I have been able to
study at mariachi workshops and work with some of Mexico’s most famous musicians, such as
Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlán, Mariachi Cobre, Los Camperos de Nati cano, Sol de Mexico,
Mariachi Rena de Los Angles, Mariachi Guadalajara International, and Mariachi Mujer 2000.
