600W DIGITAL FM TRANSMITTER
The proposed Siel innovative 600 W VHF FM transmitter, the block diagram and layout is given below.
The innovative FM stand-alone transmitter, digitally synthesized direct to channel , is
built in 3 units mainframe; the audio signal is entirely digital processed and amplified
by a RF amplifier of 600 watt output power.
The transmitter already includes the stereo coder, the RDS coder and audio limiter.
Mono aural, stereo (L+R), MPX, AES/EBU and IP Input signals may be normally
applied.
The transmitter is a completely solid state transmitter able to grant a high PA
efficiency thanks to the last high voltage LD-MOS technology.
The 600W built-in power amplifier is composed by a paralleled RF amplifier device
supplied by a power supply.
A blower, provide the cooling air flow necessary for the RF amplifier section.
The transformer is located into the drawer, that in addition of working as a step-down
transformer, providing a 50V A.C. voltage that is feeding the power supply of the RF
power amplifier is also acting as an isolation transformer.
Transmitter provides automatic restart after AC mains interruption; returns to
previous operational mode.
Transmitter may be controlled by remote through the SNMP connected to the
standard Ethernet LAN port or through the optional GSM modem.
The FM product joins to the new innovative technologies the traditional reliability
that contradistinguished the Siel products.
