IMPORTANT LAUNDERING
HOW TO MEASURE YOURSELF FOR OUR
UNDERWEAR INFORMATION
Our size charts on each page, will give you the approximate
measurements for each of our “Standard” size briefs.
Waist: This is taken where your normal waist elastic is. e.g.
Some people like to wear the waist of their under garments
quite high, so this is where you measure.
Crotch Depth: The same applies as above. Measure from your
front waist elastic-line, right under the crotch and up to your
back waist elastic line.
Hip: Measure the widest part of your lower body. This is to
make sure that your underwear can be comfortably pulled
on and off.
Top of Leg: Measure around the top of your leg (level with
your crotch) where the elastic will sit.
Please note: “Men’s and Unisex” sizings differ from the
“Ladies Size Chart”.If you are ordering a Men’s or Unisex style
for a woman, please refer to the appropriate size chart at the
bottom of each page where the briefs are shown.
e.g.“Medium Ladies” size is the same as a
“Small Men’s” size. Style SD-3S, SD-3SP, SD-3C and SD-3CP
are Unisex Styles. Any Men’s Styles can be worn by Ladies,
but you need to refer to the correct size chart to ensure a
satisfactory fit.
The absorbent padding which lines the Underwear, Pads
and the Comfy Bed Pads is manufactured specifically for use
in incontinence garments and will absorb 9 times it’s weight
without dripping. The fibre composition of this
padding is 70% Viscose/Rayon and 30% Polyester. The
viscose content is a fibre made from wood pulp and is like
cotton – absorbent. It can be washed approximately 400
times, but should not be bleached with Chlorine Bleaches as
bleaching tenderises the Viscose. To sanitise, use “Nappy”
wash products. Please make sure the “nappy wash”
solution is rinsed thoroughly out of the garment.
Fabric Softeners should be used sparingly as they put a
coating on the fibres which decreases the absorbency of the
padding. The padding may shrink slightly with repeated hot
laundering and hot drying cycles. The approximate
absorbencies quoted in our ‘Products Price List’ have been
gauged on even disbursement of fluid over the entire padded
area. For maximum absorbency and to soften the padding
we recommend that all padded garments be pre-washed
before use. To minimise the drying time and maximise the life
of your “Stay Dry” underwear, it is important to:
