About AMTRAK®
Whether you are seven or seventy years old, train
travel is one of the best ways to experience this great
country. When you take the train your vacation starts
the minute you board.
Choosing a destination that you can get excited about
is easy when you look at all the fascinating cities and
attractions that can be easily reached by Amtrak.
From the start of your trip you will notice the
difference between train and airplane travel. Train
travel does not require tedious and time-consuming
check-ins.
Superliner® trains feature roomy, first-class type
seating, a full dining car with complete meals, a
Sightseer Lounge Car with floor to ceiling windows
and a Café-Bar downstairs. Amtrak San Joaquin®,
Capitol Corridor® and Pacific Surfliner® trains feature
comfortable seating with light meals and snacks
available in the Café Car.
