● area of the Sugar factory is among the major industrial building
● single existing natural background for suburban recreation
because of its urban and architectural qualities, preserved art
and craft elements and technical and mechanical devices (objects
of the sugar industry)
● National Historic Landmark since 2005 - a complex of four factory
buildings from the years 1869 - 1917 (office building, main
production building, sugar warehouse I and sugar warehouse II)
and protective band for the whole area
● significant locality due to its location continuity of the city centre
● on 24/04/2007 approved zoning plan of Sugar factory - document for
regulating construction in the area
of residents with the possibility of organizing occasional informal
