ACWS Introduction
Automotive Cluster – West Slovakia was founded by
City of Trnava and Trnava Municipality Region in 2007.
The mission is to help SMEs to be successful and
competitive in automotive industry chains.
The vision is to help and support highly prestigious and
modern base for the automotive industry, prepared not
only to improve the quality of human resources, but
also in terms of technology transfer and innovation
processes in subcontracting chains.

Building of „Laboratories for Construction and
Simulation of plastics Forming“ in STU MTF and
Accreditation of new study Programme „Plastics

The project will establish partnerships of clusters and
automotive subcontractors to provide particular
services, with main aim to offer them support and
information to increase the collaborative potential

FastInCharge: lead partner Technical University of Gabrovo BG (FR, SK, ES, GRE)
Aim: to design a new type of infrastructure for electric vehicles
( including charging stations, cars, new-technologies for charging, intelligent links
to the electric supply network ) to be implemented in urban environment
CARBONGLAS: lead partner West Pannon Development Company HU ( SL, SK,
RO, IT, SER)
Aim: to consider farther and get to know the commodities of the future, based
on today's industrial needs and trends, in order to the new research findings of
product development embody in a real and market-introduced product.
RECOFUEL: lead partner Innovation centre Iceland ( SK, UK, ES, SE)
Aim: to find new ways to utilize natural resource to produce fuel for mobile
application for the future

Partners: lad partner University of Ljubljana SL ( DE, AT, CZ, HU, SK, UK, IT, PL)
Aim: to map and forecast development of E-vehicle technologies, to assist at
innovation of products and processes for E-vehicle mass production and to
built up education and training to increase the skills of different user groups in
each participating country
PLASTOCAR - CBC SK - CZ:
Partners: lead partner Plactics cluster in Zlin CZ
Aim: to increase the competitiveness of automotive industry in plastics fields
in regions by cooperation of Universities and Clusters for creation of the
Design and Quality Centre for automotive plastics products

AUTOCLUSTERS: R&D Centres – Database describes more than 200 innovating
capacities in SEE
AutoNet: MatchMaking Database - bring together actors from all partner regions to
identify possible potential cooperation as well as ventures in development of
innovative services. Participants are particularly identified through regional
dissemination, based on topics specific for each event.
INNOVMAT: Experts Database - offers you easy access to experts, equipment and
services in the field of material sciences within the project area. Find your competent
contact person simply by doing a keyword search on specific materials, technologies,
services or equipment
HU-SK: Automotive Database – create sustainable business cooperation on both sides
of the border by ensuring information flow between clusters and enterprises. Ensure
common approach in preparing and shaping new markets and new projects in
automotive
