AUTOMOTIVE TECHNOLOGY
Learn by doing!
Students will learn to operate common auto shop
equipment such as: brake lathe, tire spin balancer,
hydraulic lifts, air tools, transmission and cooling
system flush machines, refrigerant
recovery/recycling machines, and more.
Plus students will learn how to use diagnostic
equipment including: scan tools, lab scopes, and
multimeters.
All of this takes place in a professional working
shop environment.

The automotive industry is one of

States. This industry tends to remain
stable even when others decline due
to changes in the economy.
There is a current shortage of trained
automotive technicians in the work
force and studies have shown that
there will be an even greater demand
for trained technicians in the years to
come.
