1.1Overview
In an effort to reduce our quantity of printed items and thus serve you more efficiently and economically,
as well as helping to protect the environment, we will be using more email communications and converting
some of our existing mailings to email. You will continue to receive some items in paper format. However,
by signing up now and indicating your preferences you will assist us in developing our program.
The following options are available:
Monthly eNewsletter
Receive inspirational quotes, articles, and tips for daily spiritual living as well as the latest news and events
from Yogoda Satsanga Society of India.
YSS Bulletins
These mailings will include invitations to the annual Sharad Sangams and Janmotsav functions;
anouncements of monastic tour programmes, Kriya Yoga initiations, commemoration functions, and
retreats being conducted at our Ashrams, Kendras, and Mandalis; Newsletter and Appeal; information
about new publications; and other items sent to YSS Lessons students. To receive these communications,
you will be asked to include your YSS Lessons Registration Number.
This document explains the procedures to use the eNews subscription website.
1.2 Create an Online Account
1.
Start Internet Explorer by clicking on the blue icon with letter “e”.

Go to YSS website http://www.yssofindia.org

Click on the eNews link at the button.

Click on the ‘eNews Sign-up Button’:

This opens a new window and takes you to the Create Online Account page.
6.
Fill out the form with your personal information.
a.
Email: Use any email address that you may have.
b.
Password: Select a password that you can remember. It must be at least 8 characters long.
c.
Confirm Password: Retype the same password.

Country:

State:

Select the eNews preferences.
a.
Monthly eNewsletter: Keep this box checked to receive the monthly eNewsletter.
b.
YSS Bulletins: You need to provide your YSS Lesson Registration Number. You can find
your YSS Lesson Registration Number from the mailing label on the YSS magazine or lesson.
Please type without any space.
If you are having trouble finding your YSS Lesson Registration Number please contact us.
c.
Select the language: English, Hindi, or both.
Click on the ‘Submit’ button.

The System informs you that your account has been created and confirmation email has been sent.
Make sure you include ‘[email protected]’ in your ‘allowed list of senders, so the email does
not end up going to spam or junk mail folder.

Check the email address that you specified and look for an email from the YSS. It looks like this:
Click on the link that says ‘Activate your account.’
10. When you click on the link, you are redirected to the YSS website and your account is activated.
The System shows the following message:

Click on the Login link and enter your email id and password. Check the ‘Remember ‘ box, if you
want. Click on the ‘Submit’ button.

After you login you will be redirected to the YSS Lessons Student Website home page. From this
page you can use the top navigation bar to explore the site and get the lastest news on which online
services are available and what’s coming soon.
1.3 Forgot Password
In case you forget your password, here is how to reset it:

Click on the ‘Reset Password’ button on the Login page.

You are taken to a form where you can enter your email address.

System shows the acknowledgement.

Check your email. You should receive an email such as shown below. It includes a system generated
password with random characters.

Copy the password to clipboard or write it down on a piece of paper. You will need this to login.

Go back to the Login page. Enter your email address and the password you copied in previous step.
7.
System logs you in and takes you to the “Home” page. Click on the “Change Password” link under
the “My Account” menu in the navigation bar:

System shows the ‘Change Password’ form.
Old Password:
Paste the same random password that you got in the email before

New Password:
Select a new password that you can remember.
Confirm Password:
Re-type the same password again.

System shows the confirmation that the password is changed.
10.
Remember your new password. You can use it to login in the future.
Update Profile:
You can update your personal information in this page. After you log in the system takes you to the “Home”
page. Click on the “Update Profile” link under the “My Account” menu in the navigation bar:
