WE ARE LOOKING FOR PARTICIPATION OF THE FINEST ECUADORIAN BREWERIES!
BREWERIES – FESTIVAL DETAILS
To make this event a success, we want to partner
with the finest Ecuadorian Craft Breweries for the
inaugural VIVA Cerveza!® Fest & Expo 2016 on
Saturday, May 7 from 12-6pm.
Each accepted brewery will present their brand under
our Main Beer Tent. We ask that you plan to sample 2-4
products @ 4oz each.
Festival Provides:

3x3 or 4x4 Meter Vending Area

(1) 2,4 x ,80m Table

(2) Chairs
o
Water as Needed, Water Stations & Wash Sinks
o
Tasting / Sample Glasses
o
Electricity (Must Be Requested)
o Brewery reimbursement for beer
samples & sales. (Predetermined

o Cashiers to manage ALL beer
sales
COSTS
Brewery Requirements
o
Brewery will offer at least 2 different beers for
sampling and / or purchase
o
Brewery will bring signage / banners
o
Brewery to provide representatives for
pouring and booth management
o
Brewery will bring a Jockey Box & Coil, Co2
(or bottles)
o
Brewery will provide their own ICE,
containers, etc., to maintain product(s) at the
proper serving temperature as needed.
o
Information printed for display about brewery
and beers being presented.
o
List of beers being featured must be sent
to the Festival Administrator along with
wholesale prices upon registration, and
no later MARCH 15. Email to:

TICKET SALES – All participants are asked
to try and sell a minimum of 20 tickets. You
will receive a 10% commission per ticket
sold. If you sell in excess of 50 tickets, the
rate is increased to 20%. You will be listed
as an Authorized Festival Ticket Outlet, and
we will direct clients to purchase tickets at
your location!

What is a Jockey Box?
In a nutshell, a JOCKEY BOX is basically a cooler with a
draft beer faucet (or faucets) on the front. Inside the
cooler are dispensing coils covered by an ice bath, and a
shank through the back connecting to the beer keg that
sits behind the cooler. You don’t have to use a cooler,
any box, that can maintain the temperature of the ice,
and house the coils will work as a Jockey Box.
Be creative and build your own! Go on the internet and
Google “BEER JOCKEY BOX” for some clever ideas!
Remember, it’s your brand. Represent it to the fullest!

Festival Beer Sales…
The festival will be responsible for
managing all beer sales at the festival.
Each Brewery MUST send us the wholesale price
list of all the beers they will be bringing to the
festival. This includes KEGS, BOTTLES & CANS,
IMMEDIATELY once they register, and NO LATER
than 6 weeks before the event.

The festival will then generate a price list for each
individual brewery, which will be on file with the
event financial office and reimbursed accordingly.
Payments will be made within 2-4 business days via
BANK TRANSFER. We work with Produbanco,
Banco Pichincha, and Guayaquil Bank to expedite
payments.

In order to keep things standardized, we follow
the American & European Craft Beer Festival
model. We know that making beer may be all fun
and games, but it costs time and money, and we are
conscious of those factors. We love Craft Beer and
want to support the industry. The program works in
the following manner…
If you have a special edition, please let us know at
your earliest convenience so that we may begin
promotion of that item.
Token Structure:
Blue Tokens = 2 oz Festival Beer Sampler
You send us your wholesale price of

White Tokens = 16 oz of Tap Beer
the beer you will be serving at the
festival. This price is the price you
Yellow Tokens = 12 oz Bottle/Can Of Beer
would sell to a distributor or store.
Red Tokens = 16 oz Bottle/Can Of Beer
Each festival ticket will include

FOOD VENDORS
What’s a Craft Beer Festival without Food? And we will have plenty of Food options to compliment the Beers that
will be served. Our Food Vendors will offer American Style Favorites, such as BBQ Chicken, Buffalo Wings, Beer
Dogs, Smoked Ribs, Artesanal European Sausages, Grilled Chicken, Fries, and even some Ecuadorian favorites
like Choripanes, SalchiPapas for the little ones, and more.
INDUSTRY VENDORS
Our Industry Vendors will feature manufactures &
suppliers to the Beer industry such as Brewing Supplies,
Kettle Builders, Co2 vendors, bottle/glass vendors,
lawyers, accountants, angel investors, and more to help
you with your business.
MARKET VENDORS
We are also accepting a limited number of Merchandise
vendors who will be offering Clothing, Crafts, Home
Goods, Specialty Food Products, and more.
KIDS ZONE
We will also have an area designated for children, with an
attendant who will watch the kids while parents / guardians
enjoy the event.
BIERGARTEN & LOUNGE / PATIO AREAS
Quinta Sweet is a relaxing environment where one can escape the hustle
and bustle of the workweek. We chose this place, due to it’s proximity
from the city and it’s tranquility. A perfect place to set up a Biergarten
for our guests to relax and savor some excellent Craft Beers and Cuisine
prepared by our Executive Chef, Belen Obando of Sweet Events. All
while enjoying the serenity of the local. This is what it’s all about.
THE WORKSHOPS
CRAFT BEER WORKSHOPS
We’ve partnered with some notable Brewmaster in the Country to host
workshops on art of brewing, as well as the basics on starting up a
brewery, covering finances, start up costs, equipment, supplies, as well as
a story hour where we talk to existing business owners and pick their
brain about the start up process and industry. These workshops are
included in the price of admission, however, registration is required to
ensure we can accommodate anyone that is interested in attending.
CRAFT BEER DOCUMENTARY PREMIER
We will also take this time to premier our Short Documentary,
“VIVA Cerveza! Ecuador Ama La Cerveza Artesanal”
