ECO
company, we demonstrate our commitment
to our
customers and the environment.
Regularly scheduled service provides protection from over 36 pests.
Household pests can carry diseases and cause extensive damage. That’s why thousands of
homeowners invest in our Year Round Protection Plan. The program is economical,
convenient, flexible and, most importantly, provides protection against the most common
household invaders, including the following:
MILLIPEDES
Class Diplopoda
Millipedes spend most
of their early lives
underground. Without
control, they emerge in
large numbers to feed on
vegetation. They can be
abundant in rainy seasons,
covering walks and drives
and infesting homes.
Millipedes are usually
brown or black.
CENTIPEDES
Scutigera coleoptrata
Centipedes are long, flat,
many-segmented animals.
They like moist places like
basements, closets, and
bathrooms. Their bite is
seldom more painful than
a bee sting.
HOUSE CRICKETS
Acheta domesticus
The straw-colored house
cricket has long, slender
antennae. It can live
indefinitely in homes,
laying its eggs in cracks,
crevices, and other dark
areas. They often migrate
into buildings during
persistent hot, dry weather
or move inside when cold
weather returns.
SILVERFISH
Lepisma saccharina
The wingless, fast, slender
silverfish has long
antennae, shiny scales,
and three tail-like cerci.
Their color varies from
steel grey to black.
Silverfishpreferwarm,
damp, undisturbed areas
and may go undetected
for years.
BIRD MITES
Ornithonyssus sylviarum
This parasite attacks
domestic and wild birds
and is frequently found
in nests. Bird mites will
attack people, causing
tremendous itching. The
departure of the host bird
from the nest often causes
a surge of mites indoors,
where they infest items
like bedding.
WASPS, HORNETS &
YELLOW JACKETS
HONEY BEES
CARPENTER BEES
GROUND BEETLES
EUROPEAN EARWIGS
Apis mellitera

Forficula auricularia
We try to find a beekeeper to remove the

can provide control.
These large, robust insects
look like bumblebees but
won’t normally sting.
They bore holes into wood
to create galleries in which
to raise their young; the
female can excavate one
inch of wood in six days.
Ground beetles feed on
decaying organic matter
and are often confused
withtheOrientalroach.
Attimes,groundbeetles
invade buildings in large
numbers, creating stress
and discomfort for the
homeowner.
These reddish-brown insects
have an offensive odor
and curved rear pincers.
They’re found in lawns and
occasionally inside. They
eat flowers, vegetables,
and fruit.
CARPENTER ANTS
PAVEMENT ANTS
CITRONELLA ANTS
These large black ants can
cause serious structural
damage, yet long avoid
detection. They start nests
in moist wood and spread
by chewing tunnels
throughout. Unlike
termites, carpenter ants
do not eat wood.
The pavement ant nests
outdoors under stones,
sidewalks, and concrete
slabs, and invades homes
for food. Winged ants are
often mistaken for termites.
Citronella ant swarms
arrive in the late winter
and spring and are often
mistaken for termites.
Unlike termites, the
citronella ant is merely
a nuisance, occasionally
bringing soil into the home.
Family Vespidae
Wasps, yellow jackets, and
hornets have two sets of
wings and a narrow waist.
Colonies may be found in
trees, in houses, or in the
ground. They will sting
if provoked, leaving
symptoms ranging from
painful swelling to
allergic reactions.

These pests are relatives of

Most spiders are not highly
