What’s Happening in Mammoth SUMMER EDITION EVENTS Village Oktoberfest, September 21-22 A unique Mammoth-blend of traditional fare and family fun activities create a perfect fall weekend. The annual Oktoberfest features live music from The Warsaw Poland Bros and Those Darn Accordions, a petting zoo, stein challenges and more; all outdoors in The Village at Mammoth. Dancing with the Docs, September 22 Mammoth Hospital presents Dancing with the Docs, a fundraiser including a gala dinner, silent auction and dancing competition between physicians and local celebrities hosted by the Healthcare Trust of Mammoth Lakes. Lakanuki Fall Golf Scramble, September 27 The annual Lakanuki Fall Golf Scramble will take place at Sierra Star. $65/player includes round of golf, food and drink. SEPTEMBER 20-27, 2012 SUMMER ACTIVITIES Mountain Bike Park The Mountain Bike Park is open with limited weekend operations on September 21-23 + 28-30. Chair 2 and The Village shuttle will operate to transport bikers around the hill. Bike rentals are available at The Adventure Center, located across from the Main Lodge at 1 Minaret Road. Sierra Star Golf Course Eastern Sierra’s only 18-hole Championship Course - you won’t find a more stunning golf course anywhere! Hiking Pick up a map from the Adventure Center and the fall spend the afternoon exploring Mammoth Mountain’s stunning views on numerous trails ranging from an easy walk to a strenuous hike to the summit.
