Call for Action
It is real, it exists here and now. There is no vaccine to
fight this and no antibiotics to take. It’s a ­dangerous and
infectious ­virus which is strengthened by i­ndifference and
inaction.

groups to lobby and take action to change our societies
for the better. In my daily life I live with diversity and
understand the greater power that we have when we
play together and live together, whatever our
backgrounds.

The Football People
­Action Weeks bring
together thousands of
groups in a unified stand
against discrimination
and for equality.
Our aim is to challenge
discrimination and
celebrate the contribution
we all make to football,
wherever we live, whatever our connection to
the game, whatever our
background.
Alongside activities by
professional clubs and
leagues, such as at the
Champions League and
the ­Europa League, the
period gives fans, minority groups and grassroots
football clubs the space
to celebrate the inclusive
power of football.
Everyone involved and
interested in football can
get involved and join the
action weeks with activities. Be creative, develop
activities and share them
with us.
For grassroots organisations and fan groups
we can offer financial
support of up to €400 but
you don’t have to apply for
a grant to get involved.
From 1 August grants are
available on www.farenet.
org. The deadline for applications is 9 September
2013.
This cannot happen anymore, we need to set a good
example for children, for all the supporters, to deal with
racism and discrimination. In the end, we should all live in
peace, I really believe that.

Invite groups that are under-represented amongst
your fans to a game or organise a football camp

Fußball interessiert und

Initiativen an den Aktionswochen teilnehmen. Seid
kreativ, entwickelt eigene
Aktivitäten und Ideen und
lasst sie uns wissen!
Für Fangruppen und andere nicht geförderte
Gruppen, können wir Fördergelder von bis zu 400 €
anbieten.
Ab 1. August könnt ihr euch
auf www.farenet.org beworben. Der Bewerbungsschluss ist der 9. September 2013. Eine Bewerbung
ist jedoch keine Bedingung, um an den Aktionswochen teilzunehmen –
alle können mitmachen.

‘Football People’ (Il Popolo del Calcio) riunisce migliaia di gruppi uniti contro la discriminazione e a
favore dell’uguaglianza.
Il nostro obiettivo è sfidare la discriminazione
e celebrare il contributo che possiamo dare
al calcio, ovunque viviamo, qualsiasi sia la nostra connessione con il
calcio e qualsiasi sia il

Assieme alle attività da
parte di club di professionisti e campionati come
la Champions League e
la Europa League, questa
campagna offre ai tifosi, gruppi di minoranze e
club calcistici l’opportunità di celebrare il potere
inclusivo del calcio.

Las Semanas de Actividades Football People unen
a miles de grupos que se
manifiestan contra la discriminación y a favor de
la igualdad.
Nuestro objetivo es cuestionar la discriminación
y celebrar el aporte que
todos hacemos al fútbol,
dondequiera que vivamos,
independientemente de
cómo nos relacionemos
con el juego y de nuestro
origen o situación.
Junto con las actividades
de los clubes y ligas profesionales, como la Liga de
Campeones y la Liga Europea, en estas semanas
los aficionados, los grupos
de minorías y los clubes de
fútbol locales tienen un espacio para celebrar el poder inclusivo del fútbol.
Toda persona interesada

We have been taking part in the Fare Action Weeks
for the second year in a row. We created a banner
against homophobia which has been travelling around
different stadiums and tried to incite discussions. We
are overwhelmed by the success of our campaign. Many
fan groups want to host the banner in their ground.
