Summary
Jamiat-Ulama-i-Hind (JUH), the biggest and the most dangerous organization with Wahabi ideology,
is in the limelight these days. The organization has always been very close to the Congress. Taking
command from the Congress, the JUH organized Rashtriya Ekta Sammelan in which the Congress,
Left parties and pseudo-secularists leaders targeted the Modi government and the Sangh Pariwar.
Strange thing is that the organization claiming to be a nationalist outfit openly supported Kanhaiya
Kumar and other anti-national gang of Jawaharlal Nehru University. Even the father of Omar Khalid
participated in the JUH programme.
History of the JUH was very controversial that was started in 1920. Though their leaders have been
claiming to have participated in freedom struggle but their objective was to reestablish Islamic rule in
India. The organization has close relations with dreaded terrorists.
Always in the limelight for making controversial statement, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen
MP Asaduddin Owaisi has once again racked up controversy. He said in a public meeting at Latur, “I
will not say Bharat Mata Ki Jai, even if someone puts knife over my neck.” Actually he made such a
controversial statement due to his deteriorating support base among a section of the Muslim
community. Most of the Muslims opposed statement of Owaisi and when AIMIM MLA Waris Pathan
refused to say Bharat Mata Ki Jai he was expelled from the Assembly for the budget session. Dainik
Inquilab wrote in its editorial that there was no problem with Muslims calling Madre Watan Jindabad
but when the same thing is said in Hindi Owaisi is having problem. It appears that Owaisi is playing in
hands of people who want to split the country.
Vishnu Sahay commission set up by the Akhilesh Yadav government on Muzaffarnagar riots
submitted its report to the government. The report puts all the blame of riots on administration and
two officials while the government was given a clean chit. This is the reason that most of the Urdu
newspaper criticized it.
Sartaz Aziz, adviser to Pakistan Prime minister Nawaz Sharif, accepted that Islamic madarsa of
Pakistan have become den of terrorism. These madarsa are giving terror training and they are
preparing human bombs. Mosques and madarsa have underground buildings that are used for
terrorist activities therefore these madarsa are being closed.

Urdu Media on Bharat Mata Ki Jai
Attempt made by All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) MP Asaduddin Owaisi to polarize
Muslim votes by refusing to say Bharat Mata Ki Jai was an attempt to confuse Muslims in view of
forthcoming Assembly elections in five states. But it failed to get him desired results. Most of the Urdu
newspapers did not pay much heed to it.
Out of seven Urdu Newspapers in Delhi just three took speech of Owaisi on the front page that to as a
single column news report. Roznama Rashtriya Sahara on March 15 gave headline – Would not chant
Bharat Mata Ki Jai even if knife is put on the neck: Owaisi. Inquilab on March 15 published this as a
single column news report with the headline – Owaisi's answer to the RSS, would not say Bharat Mata
Ki Jai Bhagwat sahib.
Hindustan Express on March 15 published a two column news report. Akhbar Mashriq also gave
single column space to it. Dainik Sahafat (March 15) and Hamara Samaj (March 15) did not at all
publish this news report. Hyderabad-based Etemaad which is Owaisi's own newspaper made it the
main news report.
Roznama Rashtriya Sahara on March 16 published this news report in three columns with the
headline – Owaisi in a fix over his Bharat Mata ki Jai statement. According to the newspaper, president
of AIMIM and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi was targeted from all across. On one hand he was
attacked in Parliament when Union HRD minister Smriti Irani asked if Bharat Mata Ki Jai would not be
chanted in India then where would it be. She said that this controversy was pointing towards a big
challenge that we were going through. BJP MP Prahlad Singh Patel took up the matter in Parliament
requesting the speaker of the Lok Sabha to ask clarification from him. Parliament must decide if he
deserves to be a member of the Lok Sabha or not. On the other hand Rajya Sabha member Javed Akhtar
took Owaisi on by saying that calling Bharat Mata Ki Jai was not his duty but right. He further said that
Owaisi argued that it was not written in constitution and would not say at any cost. Akhtar said that
Owaisi must tell that where was it written in the constitution to wear cap and Sherwani. Javed Akhtar
chanted Bharat Mata Ki Jai thrice.
Expulsion of Waris Pathan from the Maharashtra Assembly was given much of importance. Roznama
Rashtriya Sahara on March 17 published it as the main news report with the headline – On the issue of
Waris Pathan refusing to chant Bharat Mata Ki Jai, the Congress, the BJP and the Shiv Sena join hands.
Inquilab on March 17 put these reports on inside pages with a five-column report with picture. Dainik
Sahafat on March 17 published a report on front page in which Najma Heptulla was attributed

supporting the slogan chanting. Hindustan Express published this news report on front page in three
columns along with pictures of Waris Pathan and Owaisi.
Hamara Samaj on March 17 gave this news enough space on the front page. Dainik Etemaad on March
17 gave space to the suspension report on the front page.
Etemaad published a report on March 18 in which Waris Pathan was attributed saying that he did not
violate any constitutional provision because nowhere in the constitution it was written to chant Bharat
Mata Ki Jai. Another MLA of the same party Imtiaz Jalil called suspension of Waris as murder of
democracy.
The same newspaper reported one Islamic organization Wahdat Islami Telengana's Maulana
Naseeruddin supporting Owaisi by saying that entire Muslim community was with him. Muslim
cannot worship anything or anyone.
Etemaad on March 18 published a news report on front page which had the headline Hindutva forces
attacked Owaisi. As per the newspaper Shiv Sena demanded that such people who were refusing to
chant Bharat Mata Ki Jai their citizenship must be scrapped.
Parliamentary Affairs minister Venkaiah Naidu said that Razakars also refused to chant Bharat Mata
Ki Jai. He said that he was unable to understand that why it was being opposed while it has got nothing
to do with religion.
According to the same newspaper, two cases have been filed against Owaisi in Bihar. As per another
news report, BJP president Amit Shah claimed that over 99 per cent people are in favour of chanting
this slogan.
Etemaad on March 18 editorial supported statement of Owaisi and claimed that chanting Bharat Mata
Ki Jai is anti-Islamic. The newspaper also criticized decision of suspending Waris Pathan from
Assembly calling it murder of freedom of expression.
Dainik Inquilab suggested Owaisi on March 18 that he must not rack up new controversies. His
statement of not chanting slogan Bharat Mata Ki Jai was highly disappointing. The newspaper said
that how strange was this to say Madre Hind Jindabad and no one objected. But when the same slogan
was chanted in Hindi then Owaisi explodes. He says he is not ready to chant it even if anyone put knife
over his neck.
Dainik Hamara Samaj on March 18 supported Owaisi with headline like – War on Bharat Mata slogan.
It alleged that the BJP government failed on development therefore it was resorting to anti-people and
authoritarian activities. People are being instigated against Muslims. The newspaper criticized
expulsion of Waris Shah from the Assembly asking if chanting Bharat Mata Ki Jai was certificate for the
real patriot and not chanting it was being anti-national.
Hindustan Express on March 18 wrote an editorial criticizing Owaisi that he gave such statements for
making headlines in the newspapers which cannot be called right. The statement about chanting

Bharat Mata Ki Jai was of similar kind which should not be encouraged. But this was equally true that
people insisting on chanting Bharat Mata Ki Jai was actually trying to divide the country which was
more dangerous than statement of Owaisi.
Dainik Sahafat on March 18 complained that the government adopted double standards. No action
was taken on statements made by Yogi Aadityanath while Muslims were targeted.
Background of Owaisi
Treason is in the blood of Owaisi. His father and grandfather have been jailed on several occasions for
inciting communal violence. A case of treason is in the court against his younger brother Akbaruddin
Owaisi.
As far as AIMIM was concerned, it was set up on instigation of seventh Nizam Mir Osman Khan in 1927
with the aim of setting up a separate Muslim Nation called Hyderabad. In 1938 the command of this
organization had gone to treasure of All India Muslim League Nawab Bahadur Yar Jung. In 1941 a
lawyer from Beed Qasim Rizvi contacted Nizam through Nawab Bahadur Yar Jung and Nizam gave
crores of rupees to set up a Muslim army called Razakars. They were equipped with arms and
ammunitions. First they started killing Hindus living in Hyderabad state and looting and raping
Hindu women. After independence they started targeting police post in the bordering area of
Hyderabad by hitting at Hindu villages. Meanwhile Nizam refused to join Indian Union and
announced independence of Hyderabad.
Razakars chief Qasim Rizvi started threatening hoisting Muslim Nizamshahi flag in Delhi. When
atrocities of Razakars intensified the then home minister Sarder Patel was forced to take police action
against them. They surrendered before the Indian Army and Nizam was forced to merge Hyderabad
state into Indian Union. Indian Army arrested leaders of Ittehadul Muslimeen and Razakars.
Thousands of Razakars were stripped their arms. Qasim Rizvi was arrested and court sentenced him
life imprisonment. Ittehadul Muslimeen was banned.
Qasim Rizvi was released by the Indian government in 1957 on the condition that he would leave India
within 24 hours. Qasim Rizvi handed over command of Ittehadul Muslimeen to Wahid Owaisi -- the
grandfather of Assaduddin Owaisi and since then this party became personal property of the Owaisi
family. In 1960 Abdul Wahid Owaisi met Pandit Nehru and after that ban on Ittehadul Muslimeen was
lifted. The electoral alliance of the party with the Congress continued till 2011.

Urdu media on JNU controversy
Urdu newspapers played up news reports concerning suicide of Rohit Vemula and anti-national
activities of Jawaharlal Nehru University.
Aalami Sahara on February 27 published news report about Jawaharlal Nehru University as the main
news report and openly supported anti-national elements. In the weekly newspaper the role of vice
chancellor was criticized. According to the editorial, letter written by main educationists of the country
criticized vice chancellor Jagdish Kumar and said comparison on the disputed matter cannot be antinational. These intellectuals said that several people feel that Afzal Guru was not provided with proper
legal assistance so he was hanged. People might have agreement or disagreement on Afzal Guru but
there is unanimity on the issue that everyone has the right to discuss the issue and could have their own
opinion on this. These intellectuals wrote in their letter that in a big country like India no one can say for
sure that what was nationalism and what was anti-nationalism. Police action in JNU made it clear that
the government was trying to suppress opponents. This is a serious matter for the country. Democracy
is in danger due to such acts. These intellectuals were of the opinion that vice chancellor did not show
prudence in dealing with the matter rather by calling the police in the campus crush their right of
freedom of speech and their ideology. Editorial also said that Rahul Gandhi met with the President to
say that RSS was thrusting its ideology on everyone and the matter of JNU was one of the connecting
links. Write up of Naiyab Hussain published in the same issue tells that democracy is getting ended
very fast in the country. Authoritarian approach of the Modi government stands exposed across the
world. Several film stars were also targeted for freedom of expression and their nationalism was
questioned. The newspaper claimed discussing speech of Kanhaiya Kumar that in his entire speech the
BJP government, RSS and ABVP was criticized but not a single world was uttered that could be called
as anti-national. The question is that if tweets can prove anyone anti-national and terrorist? However,
Hafiz Sayeed himself refuted allegations made by Union Home Minister that he has got nothing to do
with JNU incidence through a video. The newspaper expressed regret that the mainstream media was
partial and working like a government employee.
According to Hamara Samaj (February 26), Syed Qasim Rasool Ilyas, father of the accused in the case
of treason in Jawaharlal University matter Omar Khalid said that he was concerned about security of
his son. He said that treason charges against university students are baseless. This is to recall that Dr
Ilyas is member of All India Muslim Personal Law Board and president of Welfare Party started by
Jamate Islami.
According to Hamara Samaj (February 26), a joint conference organized by human right organizations
demanded withdrawal of cases against JNU students. They demanded that the government falsely
implicated them while no action has been taken against the real culprits. Chairman of the organization

A Marx claimed that he investigated the matter and reached a conclusion that people arrested by the
police did not chant anti-national slogan. Anees Ansari belonging to Muslim organization called
Popular Front was also present on the occasion. He demanded from the home minister Rajnath Singh
to resign from his post as he alleged these students being associated with Pakistani terrorist Hafiz
Sayeed. He demanded resignation of Union HRD minister Smriti Irani for the death of Rohit Vemula
finding her guilty. Marx also claimed that vice chancellor was responsible for whatever had happened
in JNU who had earlier allowed observing anniversary and later cancelling the permission.
Dawat, mouthpiece of Jamate Islami, on February 28 alleged that in the university the unity between
Dalits and Muslims baffled Sangh Pariwar so they started inciting communalism. Some students were
deliberately targeted under pressure from the cabinet ministers and in its campaign Sangh Pariwar
was assisted by media. Whatever had happened in Patiala house was a complete anarchy. The police
had beaten up Kanhaiya in custody and he was forced to write a letter. After that his bail was opposed
by the Delhi police, however, the Delhi police commissioner earlier declared not to oppose bail of
Kanhaiya. It is alleged that the Delhi police commissioner had become puppet of the government.
According to Hindustan Express (February 24), Indian Muslim League participated in the march
organized by Dalit students. According to the press release, Muslim League general secretary E T
Mohammad Bashir said that he was with protesting students.
III
Clean chit to government into Muzaffarnagar riots
According to Hamara Samaj (March 7), judicial commission investigating Muzaffarnagar communal
riots held local administration and intelligence agencies responsible for failure to check riots. In the
communal riots in September 2013, 68 persons were killed and over 5000 were rendered homeless. The
state government constituted a committee under Justice Vishnu Sahay. The report tabled in the State
Assembly gave clean chit to the state government and did not comment on the role of politicians. The
commission held the then SSP Subhash Chandra Dubey responsible and an inspector of intelligence
department Prabal Pratap Singh while suggested to investigate the role of district magistrate. The
government accepted that intelligence agencies failed to provide any prior information and failed to
make available information about mahapanchayat. The government said that departmental inquiry on
the role of the then SSP and intelligence inspector was undergoing. The government termed it a big
mistake not to assess the number of people present at mahapanchayats and not allowing recording
their speeches. As per the report of the commission, releasing the 14 accused of killing of Sachin and
Gaurav sent a wrong message that the administration was working under pressure of local Muslims.
Commission held this as reason for the riots. Investigation is continuing on putting footage against BJP
MLA Sangeet Som and others on YouTube. There were cases registered against former MP Qadir Rana,

Noor Salim Rana, Shahid Siddiqui and Ehsan Qureshi for convening mahapanchayat on August 30,
2013. Similarly there is no recording and speeches available of Hindu mahapanchayat held on
September 7, 2013. Intelligence agencies failed to assess the number of crowd. The commission also
questioned the role of media and said that reports published with pictures incited violence further.
Media did not play its social responsibility. Due to these reports riots reached neighbouring areas like
Shamli, Baghpat, Meerut and Saharanpur. The same newspaper expressed its opinion that attempts
have been made to save the state government and other people responsible for riots. Riots were part of
the election strategy made by the SP and the BJP. President of Jamiat-Ulama-i-Hind Maulana Arshad
Madani, Imam Bukhari, Farida Khan, Shabnam Hasmi and Congress leader Shehzad Poonawalla
alleged that in this report culprits were deliberately saved.
Hindustan Express in its editorial on March 8 criticizing this report said that the commission kept
mum on the role of politicians. It appears that the report has been prepared in view of the forthcoming
elections of Uttar Pradesh.
According to Hamara Samaj (March 8), Mayawati said about this report that attempt was made to save
the government while astonishment was expressed over the report in the editorial which said that
blame was fixed on two officers while attempt was made to put a curtain on politicians involved.
People became hopeless whose relatives were killed. This report is due to an unholy alliance between
the BJP and the SP. The state government failed to get justice for aggrieved. The SP will pay the price for
it in the coming elections.
Dainik Sahafat (March 8) criticized this report by saying that this riot was caused by politicians to win
elections.
Etemaad in its editorial on March 10 wrote that this report was made by Samajwadi Party to win
elections. This is a bitter truth that Uttar Pradesh government failed to provide security to Muslims.
Akhbar Mashriq in its editorial on March 12 criticized the Vishnu Sahay report and complained that
Muslims in Uttar Pradesh are not safe. Earlier a Muslim was killed in Dadri for eating beef but the
government took action very late.
IV
Minority ministry budget enhanced
According to Hamara Samaj (February 29), Union budget has made provision of Rs 3827 crore for the
next financial year which is Rs 91 crore more than the last year. Last year the budget was at Rs 3,736
crore. Union minority affairs minister Najma Heptulla expressed hope that development of Muslim
would be faster while former minority affairs minister K Rahman Khan criticized the budget

allocation. He said that the money allocated was less and it would not help serving the purpose.
Muslim Personal Law Board member Kamal Farooqi said that actually the budget amount was
decreased as a substantial amount of the money would be spent on subsidy on Haj. Earlier this
budget was spent by the External affairs ministry but since Haj pilgrimage department has been
given to minority ministry therefore this amount will have to be managed by it. Another Muslim
leader Zafar Mehmood said that the way number of minority students was increasing it would be
difficult to make scholarship available to everyone and Muslims would become backward in
education.
V
Muslim vote bank drifts away from the SP
According to Aalmi Sahara (February 27), Samajwadi Party that performed very well in Panchayat
elections is facing difficulties in Assembly by-elections. The SP was able to win just one seat out of
three. Two seats have gone out of its hand. Bikapur Assembly seat in Faizabad district fell vacant after
the death of its MLA Mitrasen while the other two by-elections were in Western UP. They included
Muzaffarnagar and Deoband. Muzaffarnagar seat was vacated after the death of Chitranjan Swaroop
while Deoband seat fell vacant due to death of former minister Rajendra Rana. Muzaffarnagar seat has
gone to BJP and Deoband seat was snatched away by the Congress. The SP got unprecedented success
in 2012 Assembly elections and formed the government with full majority. But the party had to face a
drubbing in 2014 Lok Sabha elections and all citadels of Mulayam Singh Yadav were demolished in
Modi tsunami. After Lok Sabha elections out of 11 Assembly by-elections 8 were won by the SP.
However, it is clear that these three elections would not impact the Uttar Pradesh government but it is
clear that vote bank of Samajwadi Party is eroding. Muslims are switching side in Uttar Pradesh whiles
in Western Uttar Pradesh Muslims are now keeping distance from Samajwadi Party. Anger of Muslims
is clearly visible from the Muzaffarnagar and Deoband seats. The BJP has been successful in snatching
Muzaffarnager seat in the Jat-dominated area. The BJP was successful in getting Jat, Thakur and Saini
votes in Saharanpur despite being at the third place. On Deoband seat Mawia Ali got 51 thousand votes
and the BJP stood third at 45 thousand votes. The Congress has won this seat because except en-mass
votes of Muslims it got secular Hindu votes and Dalits as well. Had Dinesh Tejan not been expelled
from the BSP and would not have contested election, Deoband seat would have also gone to BJP.
Dinesh got 16000 votes. Bikapur seat has gone to the SP because Mitrasen's son Anand Sen was fielded
from there getting sympathy votes. But Chitranjan Swaroop's son Gaurav Bansal in Muzaffarnagar
and Meena Rani the widow of Rajendra Rana in Deoband could not capitalize on the situation. The BJP
en-cashed riots in Muzaffarnagar however this was also used in Deoband but Sangeet Som failed to
polarize voters on religious lines. Interesting thing is that the SP was unable to stop Thakur, Saini and

11
Jat votes going to the BJP kitty. This has been the case of Saharanpur where minister Sahib Singh Saini
failed to get Saini votes to the SP. Whatever votes the SP got was either due to influence of Rajendra
Rana and Rashid Masood. The SP failed to manage Muslim votes on these seats. This was the reason
that it faced failure in Muzaffarnagar and Deoband. If these three by-elections are analyzed one thing is
clear that Muslim voters are angry with the SP. Asaduddin Owaisi fielded a Dalit from Bikapur
constituency who had got more votes than the BJP. This is a warning bell for the SP. As per informed
sources Owaisi is getting close to Mayawati and want to contest 2017 elections with the help of BSP. If
Mayawati agrees then Dalits and Muslims can drive the SP away from the power. Muslims in Uttar
Pradesh are annoyed with the SP as it failed to check riots in Uttar Pradesh. It also failed to rehabilitate
riot victims in the state. Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Akhilesh Yadav did not make any provision
for Muslims in his last budget. It is a difficult question to answer that how the SP will be able to keep
Muslims to their side in such a situation.

Special Report on Jamiat-Ulama-i-Hind
Jamiat-Ulama-i-Hind : An Extremist Wahabi
organization
Jamiat-Ulama-i-Hind organized a National Unity Conference in Delhi in which speeches made were
deplorable. Congress leader and leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Gulam Nabi Azad caused
sensation by equating Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh with ISIS. The conference was organized in the
name of national integration where leaders of the Congress and pseudo secular leaders especially
targeted Sangh Pariwar and the Modi government.
According to Roznama Rashtriya Sahara (March 14), president of Jamiat-Ulama-i-Hind Arshad
Madani said that environment of the country was communally surcharged. Minority people would
sacrifice their lives to keep their religion and identity intact. People asking for certificate of patriotism
must tell that what their contribution in the freedom movement was. Madani supported JNU president
Kanhaiya Kumar by saying that it would not be allowed for the RSS to thrust its ideology in
educational institution. There was tension all across ever since the Modi government came to power.
Intellectuals are returning their awards. Madarsa, which were part of the freedom struggle, are being
targeted. Even churches are not spared by Sanghies. Saffron people are occupying administrative
positions and implicating Muslims on false charges. Congress president Mrs Sonia Gandhi sent her
message for the occasion signed in Urdu.
What is Jamiat-Ulama-i-Hind?
Jamiat-Ulama-i-Hind was set up by Maulana Mohammad Husain Madani and Obaidullah Sindhi etc
and was a purely Muslim organization which was associated with the dangerous Wahabi organization
of Saudi Arabia. The only target of this organization was to establish Islamic rule in India. Generally
workers of these organizations claim that they were not political worker but the organization had been
in the role of B team of the Congress. After independence general secretary of the outfit Maulana
Hafizurahman four times contested Parliamentary elections. While one of its presidents Asad Madani
was sent to Rajya Sabha on Congress ticket. The Congress has been using this organization for wooing
Muslim votes. Whenever Congress lost power it took help of Jamiat to target the government of the
day. In 1978, Jamiat had undertaken 'Save Minority Campaign' during Janata rule. When Atal Bihari
Vajpayee came to power it had started a nation-wide campaign. With Narendra Modi government at
the helm, this organization started a free-RSS campaign in India.

Background
Leaders of Jamiat Ulama often emphasize that they
played very vital role in freedom struggle of the
country. However, the reality is that this extremist
organization tried to establish Islamic rule in India
with the help of Islamic nation.
Wahabi extremist in Saudi Arabia might have
started in 17th century but it was present in India
long ago. Muslim Ulama have always been putting
pressure on Muslim rulers for tough Islamic
administration. According to historians, when
Emperor Akbar tried to be little liberal then Mujahid
Aalif Sani Ahmed Sarhindi announced jihad against
Akbar and his army had a clash with Mughal army
at several places. This rebellion was crushed by
Akbar and Sheikh Sirhindi was imprisoned in
Gwalier fort. After the death of Akbar jihadi
elements became emboldened and forced Shah
Maulana Mohammad Husain Madani
Jahan to be tough on Hindus. Aurangzeb was puppet in the hands of these Islamic terrorists and
started torturing Hindus. Several Hindu temples were destroyed and lakhs of people were converted
to Islam by the power of sword. Later on when Islam became weak in India and Marathas dominated
north India then another bearer of Sirhindi tradition Abdul Haq Dehelvi invited Ahmed Shah Abdali
to attack India from Afghanistan. Abdali defeated Marathas in the battle of Panipat but he looted the
country and had gone back.
According to Muslim historians, Abdul Haq Dehelvi got education along with Abdul Wahab of Mecca
who propounded Wahabi sect. After reaching India he propagated Wahabism in India. Waliullah was
his son whose disciple was Rashid Ahmed Gangohi. Founder of Darul Uloom, Deoband Maulana
Qasim Nanotavi was disciple of these radicals. This is the reason that Deobandis are associated with
Wahabi sect. After the failure of freedom struggle of 1857, British rulers felt that Muslims are
regrouping to oust British by armed rebellion. So the British government arrested 1500 Wahabi
maulvies. Dozens of cases like Ambala conspiracy cases, Lucknow conspiracy cases, Patna conspiracy
cases were started in which 2000 maulvies were sentenced to death.
When founder of Jamiat Ulama visited Mecca he was given a silken handkerchief with secret message
engraved in Arabic in which Muslim leaders were instructed issuing fatwa for Muslims to start jihad in
India to establish Islamic rule. British rulers arrested Madani as soon as he reached India.

Formation of Jamiat-Ulama-i-Hind
Jamiat Ulama was established in 1919 during the
Khilafat Conference organized in Delhi by
Maulana Mehmood Hasan and its first president
was Mufti Azam Maulana Kifayatullah. In the
Malabar region of Kerala Hindus were massacred
and over 50 thousand Hindus were converted to
Islam forcefully. Four thousand Hindus were
killed and women were raped. Strange thing is
that instead of criticizing these rioters they
joined hands with them. The communal
character of Jamiat could well be assessed by
this incidence.
After independence Jamiat leaders enjoyed the
power along with the Congress. Leaders of this
organization openly supported Bangladeshi
infiltrators in northeastern India.
Wealth and property is a very dangerous thing
Maulana Arshad Madani
and this is the reason money and fight for control over the organization caused at least five splits in it.
The first split took place when Maulana Asad
Madani tried to remove all in all of Darul Uloom
Deoband Maulana Qari Taib. Split after this was
between Asad Miyan and vice president
Aliqurahman. Mufti Saheb formed a parallel Jamiat
and he was supported by Jamate Islami. Jamate
Islami formed an organization consisting of 14
parties and fielded over 100 candidates and two got
elected. But splitting spree of Jamiat continued.
Several important leaders were parting ways due to
differences with Asad Madani. But after the death of
Asad Madani dispute between his half brother and
Mahmood Madani son of Asad Madani started and
the result was that both of them formed parallel
organizations but the interesting thing is that both
the organizations have their headquarters at
madarsa Abdul Nabi. It is interesting to mention
Maulana Mahmood Madani

each other to get proximity of the Congress high command. Mahmood Madani joined Rashtriya Lok
Dal of Ajit Singh due to despondency and was sent to Rajya Sabha. Arshad Madani continued to align
with the Congress. Both the groups were against each other during the last Assam elections. Mehmood
Madani supported Badruddin Ajmal and supported candidates fielded by All India United
Democratic Front against the Congress. Arshad Madani canvassed for the Congress. During Assembly
elections in Uttar Pradesh Arshad Madani was with the Congress but he failed to get votes casted in
favour of the Congress.
Jamiat Ulama has a trump card known as Darul Uloom, Deoband which is second best educational
institute in the world for Muslims. Madani family has its dominance over this institution from the
beginning. Imam and Mufti in mosques across the country got education from this institution so they
play important role during every elections to appeal Muslims to cast their votes in favour of the
Congress.
Gift of property worth crores of rupees
Jamiat leaders had taken the price for supporting the
Congress. Pandit Nehru gifted a property worth Rs
20 thousand crore ignoring every rule book. This
property is situated at ITO and is one of the costliest
localities in Delhi. The property was with
Archeological Survey of India from the past 100
years. This was built by Abdul Nabi the chief Qazi of
Mughal emperor Akbar. As per the law, if any
property is taken over by Archeological Survey of
India it cannot be given back but Pandit Nehru
handed this property over to his friend Asad Madani
ignoring every rule. The property has around 17
acres of land worth around Rs 20 thousand crore.
Now it is Jamiat headquarters. This was opposed in
Parliament on several occasions but Congress did not
pay any heed to it. Several Muslim leaders have been
alleging Jamiat leaders for misappropriation.
Informed sources said that founder of Jamiat-Ulama-
Maulana Asad Madani
i-Hind Maulana Husain Madani was a poor person before coming to politics. But today the family is
worth billions of moveable and immoveable properties spreading across several states like Uttar
Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh and Assam. Madani family used to get funds from
British to publish English newspaper and this fund was misappropriated by Jamiat and no English
newspaper ever got published.

Madani family had always had good relations with the Congress leaders. When an influential leader of
Darul Uloom, Deoband openly revolted against fiefdom of Madani family then Maulana Asad Madani
reached to the court of Indira Gandhi. On instructions of Indira Gandhi PAC personals entered into
Darul Uloom, Deoband by breaking doors and arrested opponents of Asad Madani. Maulana al Najar
Shah Kashmiri had died but his family still run an educational institution called Darul Uloom Deoband
Waqf.
Now Arshad Madani is eying properties worth billions and trillions that are under the control of
Archeological Survey of India. They ran a campaign on the instigation of UPA government that around
500 mosques and mausoleum which are under the government control must be handed over to Jamiat
Ulama. It is said that former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh gave them assurance but things got
changes after Narendra Modi took over.
What relations they have with terrorists?
Whatever they claim but Jamiat Ulama has very
good relations with terrorists. One of the leaders of
Pakistani Taliban has been secretly visiting Darul
Uloom, Deoband. Rahman was leader of opposition
in Pakistan Assembly between 2002 and 2007. He
was general secretary of Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal.
Interesting thing is that Rahman never got any
education from Darul Uloom
Deoband still
whenever he came to India he was treated as guest of
Madani either in Delhi or Deoband. Arshad Madani
organized several programme in his honour at five
star hotels. Fazlur Rahman is considered to be
terrorist leaders of Pakistan. He has very close
relations with Hafiz Sayeed and chief of United
Jihad Council Salauddin.
All India Ulama and Masaikh Board president
Ashraf Kichchochavi alleged several times in public
Maulana Fazlur Rahman
that Deobandi sect is getting financial help from Saudi Arabia to incite communal violence in the
country.
Jamiat has very close relations with Wahabi movement. Documents leaked by Wikkileaks alleged
that Wahabi government of Saudi Arabia funds several organizations in India to incite communal
violence that included Jamiat-Ulama-i-Hind. India TV published a news report in July 2015.
According to these documents Saudi Arabia in 2014 made 45 thousand riyal available to two
organizations to set up madarsa for women in India in Uttar Pradesh. As per these documents

Jamiat Ulama had constituted a Defence Committee in the leadership of Gulzar Azmi which is
responsible for providing shelter to these terrorists arrested by security forces on terror charges. This
committee also provides financial support to the family members of the terrorists. There is a battery of
lawyers to provide these lawyers free legal help. In the past five years 54 such terrorists have been
arrested who were directly associated with Darul Uloom Deoband. Seven of them have been found
guilty by the court of law.
Maulana Abdus Sami Qasmi of Delhi has recently been arrested as the Islamic State chief of India. He

Independence of Balochistan echoes in the US
According to Munsif (February 14), a bill has been introduced in the US Parliament in which it was
said that demand for independence of Balochistan in Pakistan is very strong. So the US must force it
and Pakistan must do a plebiscite there. In this proposal it was also mentioned that the Pakistan
government was denying fundamental rights of Balooch people. However the external affairs minister
of the US denied having its any relations to the bill. But a section of people in the US is demanding an
independent Balochistan. Attempt is being made in the US for independence of Balochistan. They
want to recognize it as an independent nation. Actually the US wants to use Balochistan in case
Pakistan gets out of the influence of the US. Balochistan is strategically, economically and politically
very important. Balochistan is the biggest province of the Pakistan as far as area is concerned. It is more
or less half of the Pakistan. But its population is very less and around 90 lakh people live there. This
place is full of minerals, gas, petrol and other precious minerals. Till 1947 Balochistan was not part of
British India instead the region had many princely states which included Kalat, Khazan, Makran and
Hasbela. Just two days before independence of Pakistan Nawab of Kalat Meer Ahmed Yaar Khan
declared his independence and he was supported by Balooch chieftains. Later on Pakistan sent its
army to capture it. Condition of Balooch is deteriorating by the day. The region is dominated by
Punjabies and they are using wealth of the region. Baloochi tribals instigated people against the
government. Balooch people are complaining that their natural resources are being used by Punjabies
and local people are being deprived of it. In recent times the demand for independent Balooch is
increasing. A section of Pakistani people feel that if this issue is ignored it might become dangerous for
Pakistan. Like Bangladesh it too becomes independent. Intention of Pakistan is to make Balochistan as
its base to target Iran. Besides that Pakistan wants to keep its control over it so Gwader port, which was
developed with the help of China, will help remain in contact with China and West Asia. Iran too is
eying Balochistan and it wants its puppet government there so it could use minerals of Afghanistan
and other countries. This is the reason Iran is supporting Free Balochistan movement by helping such
elements present there. It is reported that number of supporters of free Balochistan movement is
increasing very fast. During General Pervez Musharraf's period one of the main supporters of
Balochistan movement Abdul Khan Bhugtoi was killed by Army. But this has intensified the
movement instead of getting suppressed. American strategists are emphasizing that this is very
important to support Balochistan by dividing Pakistan in order to stop China reaching Arabian Sea. By
this way the US will be able to establish its influence in Afghanistan and Iran besides containing China.
According to Siyasat (February 26), Iranian army was in the killing spree of male members along the
border villages of Pakistan. The government sources claimed that since people of these villages were
indulged in smuggling of narcotics so they were killed. While the newspaper claimed that Sunni
people of Balochistan state of Iran were opposing the Shia government so Iranian Army attacked the
village killing them.

Madarsa in North Waziristan become terror den
According to Munsif (March 6), Sartaz Aziz, adviser to Pakistan prime minister Nawaz Sharif,
accepted that Islamic madarsa in Pakistan have become den of terrorism and for such a situation those
Afghan refugees are responsible who escaped Afghanistan in 2001 to reach Pakistan. All these
madarsa give terror training and they are factory of bomb making. These Islamic madarsa are also
involved in brainwashing Muslim youths to make them human bombs. There are basement building
in several mosques and madarsa where arrangements for training is made besides their stay. Aziz said
that Pakistani army is taking action against these dens. He alleged that Islami Jihadi want to capture
government in Pakistan. In the past 14 years around 60 thousand people became victim of terrorism
that included 10 thousand security personals. He said that due to terrorist activities Pakistan lost $100
million.

author Sherin Khan. Father of this woman is a Syrian while her mother was from Finland. Sherin
accepted that some people criticized building a separate mosque for women. But she denied that any
terrorist organization threatened her for building separate mosque for women. She said if male wanted
to build their own mosque they would not have any objection.

Several arrests in Pakistan over Pathankot attack
Siyasat on February 24 published a report in which it was said that as per interior ministry of Pakistan
several people have been arrested by the police by raiding in the Pakistan side of Punjab. Arrested
people have been sent to undisclosed location for questioning. According to the Pakistan government,
sometimes ago India made several phone numbers available to the Pakistan government. Pakistan
security agencies raided across the country on that basis. Spokesperson accepted that several
suspected people have gone underground and they switched off their phones. This is to recall that the
Pakistan government had lodged an FIR for Pathankot terror attack. After that arrest started. As per the
Indian government information seven terrorists were killed in this attack and they were associated
with Pakistani terrorist organization Jais-e-Mohammad. India held Maulana Masood Azhar as the

Education of Rohingya Muslim banned
According to Munsif (February 26), the Myanmar government banned education of Rohingya
Muslims. As per the government sources, there are around 8 lakh children getting education in over a
dozen of rehabilitation camp. The Myanmar government decided that madarsa would not be allowed
in these camps. Due to this reason 80 per cent children are remaining uneducated. In Rakhain, one of
the provinces of Myanmar, last year only two Muslims got bachelor degree while 27 other Rohingya
Muslim students were declared Bangladeshi and subsequently expelled from the university.
Spokesperson of the United Nations claimed that it wanted to open schools in these camps but the
government was not allowing them. Rohingya Muslims have also been banned for not opening any
schools or madarsa. Democratic Voice of Myanmar claimed that the decision of Army administration
banning religious education was continued by the new government. The government said that
Rohingya Muslimss were not Myanmari citizens therefore it was not the responsibility of the
government to provide them education. Muslim organizations of Myanmar say that the Myanmar
government is anti-Muslim so it does not want to allow Muslims to set up madarsa. This is to recall that
some years ago after communal riots erupted, Rohingyas were forcefully taken out of their houses to
lodge into refugee camps. Spokesperson of the government said that people put in the refugee camps
are not citizens of Myanmar so it is not the responsibility of the government to provide education and
other facilities to them.

Revolt in Saudi Arabia
As per a report published in Munsif on February 14, there is a possibility that king of Saudi Arab Shah
Salman bin Abdul al Aziz might relinquish throne. It is said that he wants to step down in favour of his
son and defence minister of Saudi Arabia Mohammad al Saud. But declared Prince Mohammad bin
Naof is an obstacle in his wish. Shah Salman is trying that inheritance board allow him to declare his
son king of Saudi Arabia but the board is not ready to break age old tradition. This is the reason that the
decision of Shah Salman relinquishing thrown is in limbo. The way international oil prices are going
down, it is impacting government coffer. Shias in Saudi Arabia are openly revolting and Iran is openly
helping them. Petroleum minister of Saudi Arabia Ali bin Ibrahim Alnamo resigned. Russia is putting
pressure that oil prices must not be reduced but on the contrary the US is putting pressure on Saudi
Arabia to reduce oil prices. Russian interference in Arabic world is increasing. On one hand Russia is
supporting Basar al Asad government in Syria and on the other hand encouraging Iran. Russia wants
to strengthen its position by instigating Shia and Sunni dispute. Russia wants to increase influence of
Shia in Arab world so it could end influence of the US in the region. Russia is continuing bomb blast in
Syria but interesting thing is that Saudi Arabia and Qatar are also supporting rebels. As far as Saudi
Arabia is concerned, it would be difficult for the present ruler Shah Salman to hand over reigns to his
son because the entire army is with Mohammad bin Naof. Shah Salman had done some reshuffle in the
ministry to make himself strong.
According to Sahafat (February 26), violent protests are taking place in the Shia-majority areas of
Saudi Arabia. This demonstration is taking place against killing of a Shia youth by the Saudi Arabia
police.

high-level committee has been constituted. He alleged that Iran is encouraging terrorism therefore
these steps have been taken. The Bahrain government announced sometimes ago that several people

battleground. As per intelligence agencies of the US, the number of fighters from foreign origin
fighting in Syria and Iraq has come down from 31 thousand to 25 thousand. Big numbers of fighters

call of jihad.

different views are expressed in different parts of Quran which tells women to don decent cloths and
cover their heads. There is no mention of covering face. This is to recall that ban of Burqa was

reply. UN representative expressed happiness over this compromise. He accepted that to implement
this ceasefire a special force will be constituted. Besides that Syria also announced that Parliamentary

temporary ceasefire but it could not have been implemented. The US president decided to implement
ceasefire on the request of Russian president. It has been announced officially that bombardment by
the US, Russia and Syria against terrorist organizations to continue. Opposition leaders of Syria
welcomed this decision. The Saudi Arabian government said that efforts of ceasefire were welcomed
by opposition political parties. The committee also announced that 18 areas of rebels that had been
