Muhammad Mustafa

mobile applications prepared by Dr.
Najeeb Qasmi in Urdu, English and
Hindi on 28 August 2015. The first
application has been named “Hajj-e
Mabroor” and contains three books on
Hajj and Umrah, 9 speeches, one Hajj
and Umrah presentation and 21 articles.
This app is a useful guide for the
pilgrims. They can read the books and
articles available in the app at any time
without access to the internet. Hundreds
of informative questions and answers
related to Hajj and Umrah are also
available in the app. This is the first app
of its kind in the world providing rich
information about Hajj and Umrah in
three languages. The second app has
been named “Deen-e Islam”. It consists
of 175 articles dealing with different
aspects of life, 75 speeches, and 7
books. It is also the first mobile app in
the world which has such religious
treasure in three languages on 21
religious topics.
During launching ceremony, Dr.
Muhammad Mustafa Azmi said:
“Today, anti-Islamic elements are
criticizing Islam and striving hard to
create doubts in the mind of Muslims
about the origin and authenticity of the
Qur’an and Hadith. Since these

conspiracies hatched by orientalists
against Islam and the Qur’an are being
carried out in different European
languages, and on the other hand, our
Islamic scholars are unaware of them
and are not able to counter them. 70
organizations in Germany alone have
collated currently and are working on a
20 years long project of creating doubts
in the minds of Muslims about the
compilation of the Qur’an to weaken
their faith in authenticity of the Islamic
resources.”
Dr. Muhammad Mustafa Azmi is a
graduate of Darul Uloom Deoband. He
bagged his MA degree from Al Azhar
University, Egypt in 1955 and Ph.D.
from Cambridge University in 1966. He
is the first man to computerize Arabic

texts of Hadith and has written many
books which are being taught in various
universities across the world.
Founding member of Jamia Millia
Islami Alumni Association, Riyadh, Dr.
Shafatullah Khan said: “Internet today
is an effective tool for disseminating
information. It can be used for
educational purpose, for preaching
Islam and removing misconception
regarding Islam and Muslims etc. It will
continue to affect our day to day life
until it is replaced by other new
technology. We need to make maximum
use of it for conveying Islamic
teachings to common people.”
Highlighting the features of these two
apps, Dr. Najeeb Qasmi said: “New
technology has been used to develop
these apps. Users can find them in Play
Store or App Store by simply typing
“Najeeb Qasmi” or “Hajj-e Mabroor”
and install them within two minutes.
