SOLMAX WHITE LINER SERIES
As projects become increasingly complex in design, engineers now demand more ef�icient containment site options. In order to respond
to the ever growing demand in the containment �ield, Solmax introduces its white geomembrane: a product whose speci�ications meets
and exceeds the international GRI-GM standards and with the particularity of having a superior white layer which is UV resistant and
light re�lective. Offered in both HDPE and LLDPE, the coextrusion of a white coating can be made to each of our product series: Standard
material, textured and smooth �inish, Premium HD series and conductive liner.
SOLMAX WHITE LINER SERIES material is a 3 layer co-extruded geomembrane.
The product core and inferior layer remain black which doesn’t affect any technical
properties of the liner. By changing the composition of the superior layer with the
product that offers additional on-site bene�its suitable for various applications.

The �irst advantage of using a geomembrane with a superior white layer is the reduction
in thermal expansion, a phenomena observable with the variation of temperature, which
causes wrinkles during the installation process and the period of exposure in traditional
black liner. By distracting UV rays away from the geomembrane, a second advantage is
observed; consequently reducing the geomembrane’s temperature, the aging process is
slowed down, which increases the liner’s service life.
Single or double sided textured options are
available and offer superior interface
friction when required.
The white layer can be applied to our wide
range of products: HDPE, LLDPE, Premium
HD, Conductive liner.
Liner is easier to weld, thereby reducing
defects caused by wrinkles.
Less stress on the membrane during back�illing.
Better contact with the subgrade
Less failures at the quality control level due
to defectives seams.
Underlying black layer allows for easier
detection of scratches or punctures.
