MORMON LAKES DINNER CRUISE
We’re tempted to say that the Mormon Lakes Dinner Cruise , coordinated by Lance McKee, was a smashing success. However, Kennedy and Ed Torel might not find any humor in the adjective. It was although, a beautiflul evening for a cruise and many members drove their classics. Kathy McKee reports: ” 25 cars attended:
Paul Wilk, Randy Travis, Bob & Maggie Bortree, Cecil & Lela Gary (they drove their yellow '34 Ford, but didn't park by us and I didn't get a picture - sorry!) Rob & Adriana Penhaker, Ken & Candy Howard, Mac & Jackie
McCrorey, Ed & Kennedy Torel, Lance and Kathy McKee, Kathy Perkins, Ed & Pat Wiebe, Mike & Lacy
Ebersole, Alan & Alice St. Germain and Jerry & Donna McGlothin/Viehdeffer.”
On the way home, Ed and Kennedy Torel had an all-to-close encounter with a deer ( see pictures of their car on
next page). We’re told that the encounter will run $7,000 to repair. Wow, now that’s expensive Venison!

Mercury guys are!
OUCH! One car and one deer getting too friendly.
Kennedy is on the phone calling their insurance
agent.

WINSLOW “STANDING ON THE CORNER” JUST CRUISING CAR SHOW
Held on October 4th, nine club members exhibited their classics. The weather couldn’t have been
better. This show appears to be growing, pushing 200 cars this year. Tim Hewitt and Sean Evans
both took awards. Bottom line, this was a fun show.
