welcome
Welcome to our new home for
Craftboston Holiday!
Over the past six years Craftboston Holiday
has steadily gained popularity as a destination
for artists, collectors, and craft enthusiasts to
celebrate contemporary craft in Boston. The
Society of Arts and Crafts is thrilled that our
show has become a seasonal favorite.
Craftboston Show Hours
Thursday, December 5
Friday, December 6
Saturday, December 7
Sunday, December 8
6pm-9pm
10am-7pm
10am-7pm
11am-5pm
We are excited to offer an expanded selection of 176 artists, a craft book seller, and
informational booths promoting non-profit craft organizations and schools. We hope that
Craftboston Holiday continues to be part of your holiday shopping tradition for years to come!
Speaking of shopping…don’t forget to save your ticket! It is valid for re-entry all weekend
and can be presented at SAC’s Retail Gallery just around the corner at 175 Newbury Street
for 10% off your purchases (SAC members receive 15% off).
Since its inception in 1897, SAC continues to support the creation and advancement of
contemporary craft through its craft shows, gallery exhibitions, retail store, and education
and award programs. SAC has a full schedule for 2013-14 including:
• Floral Fictions: Recent Work by Jessica Calderwood exhibition
• Craftboston Spring @ the Cyclorama
• MakeSpeak: 7 Takes on Craft
• The 2014 SAC Artist Awards exhibition
• William Daley: 14 for 7 exhibition
Finally, Craftboston Holiday would not be possible without the exhibiting artists,
Craftboston Committee, Craftboston Volunteers, SAC Staff, and your support. We hope you
enjoy this year’s show!

We are
Join us in Minneapolis, April 23-26, 2014 for
From Grains to Gold
Once known as the “flour milling Capital of the world,” Minneapolis
artists, crafts-people, musicians, designers, and performers have
taken over the long-forgotten grain warehouses and industrial
buildings. The 2014 conference will explore the relationship between
the maker and materials at a time when materials and techniques are
rapidly changing, and delve into what it means to be “hand-made” in
the 21st century.
