Dry Bones
We will be living into the power of the
resurrection by considering the places
where the Spirit shows up in the book of
Ezekiel. It may seem like a strange place to
look for the Spirit, but the Spirit plays a
powerful role in Ezekiel and brings us to
the place where we will see the Spirit
empower us to truly live...not just live as a
pile of dead, dry bones. Dry Bones is
intended to help us see where the Spirit is
moving and join the work that has already
begun.

The Belgic Confession
As one of our confessional standards, we
hear this expression of our theology to be
rooted in God's word so we can be the
greatest voice of hope in the world. The
Belgic Confession, along with the other confessions, helps us develop a solid world and
life view based on the guiding of Reformed Theology. This should help us speak clear
hope into the messy brokenness of this world.

Blessings Given and Received
A humbling surprise awaited me in my
church mailbox after the loss of my sister and
daughter-in-law. Merl Van Zante’s Sunday
School class of 4th and 5th graders all made
me cards with wonderful, hand-written,
comforting Bible verses on them. I was then
invited to their Sunday School for a very
special time as well. They sang a song of
blessing for me, and then Merl and kids had a
very encouraging hands-on prayer for me
also. This was an experience never to be
forgotten. Thanks to you, Merl and your
Sunday School class. God’s blessings to each
one of you.
Hermina Rolffs
Sincere thanks to everyone who
remember our family with prayers after the
loss of my sister Betty and daughter-in-law
Sue. Thanks also for the cards, telephone
calls, and words of comfort and caring
through this difficult time. Thanks also to
elders Jeff Pastoor and Bryce Arkema and
Pastor Brian for their visits and prayers. All
of these kind deeds were appreciated so
much. We thank God for His love, grace,
comfort, and His promise to never leave us or
forsake us.
Hermina Rolffs & Family
A sincere thank you to all those who
remembered me with cards and happy
wishes on my 94th birthday. They were all
greatly appreciated. Above all, I’m grateful
for the many years that the Lord has granted
me and for the health I might enjoy.
Harriet Van Zante
Therefore, as God’s chosen
people, holy and dearly loved,
clothe yourselves with
compassion, kindness,
humility, gentleness and
patience.
Colossians 3:12
