Let me say thank you to all who have participated in this year’s Charity and Development Appeal . This annual appeal is so important to our diocese and to our parish because so many of our volunteer ministers and
our staff receive training from the offices
funded by the CDA.
As I look at our 5 year history, we have surpassed our goal three times. Over that time
period, our average goal was $56,800 and our
average amounted raised was $59,352. I think
it is easy to say that we have done well and
have reason to be proud. Last year was exceptional with a goal of $60,000 we raised
67,599.
Of course, that means that we have a higher
goal this year: $64,000 but this is within what
we are easily able to accomplish. It would be
great if we could surpass our goal early. Remember, I will continue to remind you until
we pass our goal (this is one time when it is
OK to shut me up).
Again thank you for your past generosity and
for your participation in this year’s campaign.

Hello from the Principal
Registration for the 2015-2016 school year has started and
you can pick up a registration packet in the parish or school
office. You can also call for a tour of the school and to talk
with the principal at (623) 931-7288. Multiple scholarships
are available and many are open now. Come and register
and we will assist you in applying for the various scholarships.
OLPH Preschool Program has two classrooms, for ages
three and four years of age. We are DES certified and other
scholarships are available. Give your child the gift of a
Catholic education. It will prepare them for High School
and beyond...

iniciado y pueden recoger un paquete de inscripción en la
oficina de la parroquia o la escuela. También pueden llamar
para un recorrido por la escuela y para hablar con la

The OLPH School Alumni wish to thank all of
you who contributed cake mixes, frosting, basket
supplies and prizes, those who helped set up
tables, and especially the members of Our Lady’s Guild.
Also, we wish to thank everyone who purchased tickets in
support of our recent scholarship fundraiser. Your efforts
helped us raise enough money to grant two scholarships
to two graduating eighth graders to help them continue
their Catholic education in high school.

Que tal,
Permítanme dar las gracias a todos los que han participado en la Campana de Caridad y Desarrollo de este
año. Este llamado anual es tan importante para nuestra
diócesis y para nuestra parroquia porque muchos de
nuestro ministros voluntarios y personal, reciben capacitación en las oficinas financiados por el CDA.
Cuando miro lo que a sucedido en los 5 años anteriores,
hemos superado nuestro objetivo tres veces. Durante
este periodo de tiempo, nuestra meta promedio fue
$56,800 y la cantidad promedio alcanzada fue de
$59,352.Creo que es fácil decir que hemos hecho bien y
tenemos rozones para estar orgullosos. El año pasado
fue excepcional, con una meta de $60,000 nosotros recaudamos $67,599.
Por supuesto, eso significa que tenemos una meta de
$64,000 pero esta dentro de lo que somos fácilmente
capaces de lograr. Seria fantástico si pudiéramos superar pronto nuestro objetivo.. Recuerden, que voy a
seguir recordándoles hasta que pasemos nuestra meta
(solo hasta entonces “me podrán callar”).
Gracias otra vez por su anterior generosidad y su participación de este año.
