JULY 24-25, 2015 | Vancouver, BC POWERED BY Sponsorship Sponsorship Package Package Investing in Players g in their Coaches. By investing Brought to you by: 604.802.5371 / [email protected] / www.thecoachessite.com Who We Are TEAMWORK VALUES ETHICS COMMUNICATION CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT COMPETITION CULTURE STRENGTH COMMUNITY SPORTSMANSHIP The Coaches Site believes that sport, in our case hockey, should provide all participants with a development opportunity that is unique to each player. The hockey rink is a classroom that provides individuals an opportunity to discover their potential. In our opinion, coaches have the biggest influence on an athlete’s experience with sport and our goal is to develop a community that shares the skills, practices and insights from the game’s top coaches and experts. Through our 5th Annual Hockey Coaches Conference and website, we have a platform to directly impact hockey culture. And our network is growing! Join our team and help contribute to the positive experience players, coaches, parents and volunteers enjoy at the rink. “One coach will influence more people in one year than the average person will do in a lifetime.” Why? • Demonstrate a commitment to supporting a more positive sporting experience for young athletes • Gain direct contact with potential customers and thought leaders in the hockey industry • Attract independent media coverage through your participation as a sponsor • Reaffirm your position as a supporter of grassroots hockey and community programs Testimonials “First class event with a great hockey environment and culture. Top notch speakers that really understand their audience and can deliver the message that will help you grow as a coach and a mentor of athletes. This conference will bring the best out of you heading to the new season.” - Maco Balkovec Hockey Director, Burnaby Winter Club “The Coaching Conference provides an unique opportunity for aspiring coach’s to learn from the best within the game of hockey. The content which the conference delivers is an invaluable resource that I have been able to apply regularly in my daily work.” -Yogi Svejkovsky Assistant Coach, Vancouver Giants, WHL “The coaches site conference is an invaluable resource for coaches of any level. Aaron brings in speakers with such a great depth and variety of knowledge you can’t help but learn something that you can take back with you to use and share with your fellow coaches. I especially enjoyed the opportunity to discuss the presentations with the other participants at the round table to listen to their perspectives. It’s a great opportunity to listen to passionate and knowledgeable people talk about the sport we all love.” -Adam Maglio Assistant Coach, UBC Men's Hockey By The Numbers OUR FOLLOWERS WHO ATTENDS NHL AHL ECHL 796 + 17% Junior Hockey 12% 4455 + @ 8% CHL NCAA CIS 62% 1496 + Conference Growth Registered Coaches Minor Hockey 2011 2012 2013 2014 2015 86 123 147 188 200+ Canada 103 000 BC 7000 PCAHA 4000 Our Presenters Combined Speaker Achievements 8 5 5 6 Stanley Cups Olympic Gold Medals World Championship Gold Medals World Junior Championship Gold Medals 8 Memorial Cups 2200+ Combined games won as an NHL Head Coach Past Presenters - Ken Hitchcock, Head Coach, St Louis Blues - Mike Keenan, Former NHL Head Coach & GM - Barry Trotz, Head Coach, Washington Capitals - Glen Gulutzan, Assistant Coach, Vancouver Canucks - Mike Johnston, Head Coach, Pittsburgh Penguins - Matt Nichol, Founder, BioSteel - Martin Gelinas, Assistant Coach, Calgary Flames - Bill Ranford, Assistant Coach, LA Kings - Brent Petterson, Assistant Coach, Nashville Predators - Frantz Jean, Assistant Coach, Tampa Bay Lightning - Ray Ferraro, Analyst, TSN - Ken Babby, Head Coach, Team Canada Sledge Hockey - Ryan Huska, Head Coach, Adirondack Flames - Guy Gadowsky, Head Coach, Penn State University - Kevin Constantine.
