Substance Abuse Program (ASAP) is
partnering with Army Air Force Exchange
Service (AAFES), Washington State Patrol,
and Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers
(BOSS) to host a impaired driving prevention
event Thursday 17 Dec 15 from 1000 to
1400 at the JBLM Main PX. JBLM
community agencies will provide
demonstrations and displays to promote
safe travel and low-risk alcohol choices
during the holiday season.
Planned exhibitors will include:

• BOSS Designated Driver program

Team’s programs.
JBLM Mountaineers
Ultimate outdoor program focused on safely
conquering summits. Includes classroom
planning & training, summit attempts, glacier &
avalanche training, ice climbing, team building
& unit training, canyoneering & caving. Part of
the Northwest Adventure Center’s Outdoor
Rec Team’s programs.

Home Based Business

Clarification




You may conduct a lawful business “at home” by computer,
mail or telephone if customers, clients, patients or other
business associates do not come to the home for business
purposes. Any exceptions, such as “Home Child Care Service”
must be pre-approved by JBLM and the Director of Morale,
Welfare and Recreation (DMWR).
Any lawful business that is allowed as stated above must be
conducted in accordance with applicable laws.
Lewis-McChord Communities will require proof of all required
registrations, insurance and permits to be submitted once
approval is given by your Community Office but before any
business is conducted.
Determination of an acceptable business is at management’s
sole discretion.

DECORATION REMOVAL SCHEDULE:
• Halloween Decorations – Remove by 10 Nov
Consists of blow up characters, Jack o’ lanterns (carved pumpkins,
skeletons, ghosts, spider webs, spooky décor, etc.
• Fall seasonal decorations – Remove by 10 Dec
 Consists of leaves, scarecrows, gourds, whole un-carved pumpkins,
natural wreaths, hay bales, corn stalks, etc.
• December holiday decorations – Remove by 10 Jan
 Consists of Santa Claus, presents, lights, blow up characters,
wreaths with ornaments, stockings, holiday trees, etc.
• Winter seasonal decorations - Remove by 19 Mar
 Consists of snowmen, snowflakes, winter wreaths, etc.

