Fun Things To Do
San Diego, known as America's Finest City, offers warm
weather, world famous attractions, and excellent dining
throughout the city, especially in the Gaslamp Quarter. Many
of the ASA National Championship hotels are located close
to downtown so players and parents will have access to
several dining and nightlife choices.
CORONADO: THE CROWN CITY: Situated across San Diego's Big Bay,
Coronado's elegant gardens and mansions, the omnipresent U.S. Navy and smalltown quaintness combine to make the "Crown City" a seaside paradise of relaxation and recreation. Shop along Orange Avenue while enjoying the city's unique
charm, or head to a local resort for an upscale experience.
THE SAN DIEGO ZOO: The San Diego Zoo is more than a zoo: it is a sanctuary for thousands of animals, a landscape of rare plants from all climates and a
learning classroom that entertains as well as educates. The new 7/5 acre multispecies habitat features elephants, California condors, jaguars and more and offers guests insight about the Zoo’a conservation efforts to protect the wildlife
from becoming extinct like the mammoth and saber-tooth cat.
SEAWORLD: Come celebrate the wonders of the sea at SeaWorld San Diego.
Experience the amazing Shamu show, and thrilling rides like Journey to Atlantis,
Shipwreck Rapids and Wild Artic. Join Elmo and his friends at the Sesame Street
Bay of Play featuring family-friendly rides. Don’t miss the Pets Rule Show and
the hilarious antics of Clyde and Seamore’s sea lion and otter show. Feed and
touch dolphins, and get up close to beluga whales, polar bears, & more.
BEACHES & PARKS: In San Diego, the beach is a way of life, a source of
pride and joy, a defining influence in people’s lives. Whether you’re a first-time
visitor or a life long resident, the beach is a great place to visit! Learn more about
the amazing beaches of Southern California at our website.
