The bands passion is Christian music while also performing a mix of country, classic rock and old time favorites. They will be on an elevated stage,
provided by the University of Central Missouri, on the south side of City
Hall and Warrensburg Police Department parking lot. Grassy areas will be
accessible for guests to sit, and lawn chairs and blankets are highly encouraged.
In an earlier statement, Mayor, Robin Allen, stated, "It is exciting that the
summer concerts are doing so well and continuously providing entertainment for the community."
Warrensburg Main Street is grateful to reschedule such a great band. Executive director, Julie Turnipseed stated “We are glad Brandon and The Tribe
of Levites were willing to reschedule the concert. We hope everyone will
come out and enjoy this great evening of entertainment.”

proposed design, stop by Warrensburg
Main Street at 111 N. Holden or

The Collaborative Steve Jobs
Steve Jobs, arguably the greatest
business innovator of our times, is
often characterized as “a solitary
genius who on his own simply willed
breakthrough products into existence”. In their new book, “Becoming Steve Jobs: The
Evolution of a Reckless Upstart Into a Visionary Leader”,
Brent Schlender and Rick Tetzeli debunk this myth.

After getting fired from Apple, Steve Jobs “had the
good luck to experience, at Pixar, a strong collaborative
culture.” When he returned to Apple, "Steve Jobs 2.0"
ran a collaborative executive team and “Apple’s resurrection was a team effort”.
Steve’s legacy is not one of a singular genius instead it
is someone who developed a team of leaders “who are
rigorous, collaborative, and deeply open-minded. They
will follow their noses and not look back. That is a big
part of the real legacy they have inherited.”
There’s Still Time to Get Registered for Burg Fest!
This Fast Company article (8 min read) is an enlightening look at Steve and the Apple's surprisingly collaborative culture.
