Examination

 The sole purpose of a licensing examination is to
identify persons who possess the minimum
knowledge and experience necessary to perform
tasks required of the job safely and competently.

Significance of the Study

To further evaluate students upon


 Course Preference has no significant relation to the
Pharmacy Licensure Exam Score.
 USTET IQ has significant relation to the Pharmacy
Licensure Exam Scores
 GWA has strong significant relation to the Pharmacy
Licensure Exam Scores
 If your GWA decreases from excellent to average – you’ll
get a deduction of 9.81 points on your Pharmacy
Licensure board exam Results.
Conclusion

 The most consistent variable for the correlation was
the General Weighted Average (GWA)
 Cumulative Learning has effect on Competency
 This would mean a University can actually check the
students “readiness” upon taking Pharmacy Licensure
Exam and who are the students that need intensive review
through the approximation acquired.
Recommendations

 Consider another different set of quantifiable variables
such as:
 number of review centers attended versus self-study
 student status (regular versus irregular)
 number of takes (first taker versus second taker versus
third taker)
 if the data chosen can be acquired to all study
population.
