Kush Bank is a registered commercial Bank
with the Ministry of Legal Affairs in the
Republic of South Sudan. It has been in
service as a specialized commercial bank
since 2012.
Upon satisfying the statutory capitalization and infrastructural requirements of

granted a license to operate and engage in

At the end 2014, the bank capitalization stood
at USD 10 Million, with adequate working
capital. Kush Bank has grown from strength
to strength since it opened its doors for business in December 2013 despite the sluggish
business environment. It continues to attract

SENIOR MANAGEMENT
Chief Executive Officer:
Mr. Ahmed Takoy is a holder of a Masters in Strategic Management from University of Nairobi and has over 16 years of
relevant experiences in management particularly in Financial Management of NGO’s, the UN and banking sector. Additionally has provided high level and strategic consultancies
to multinational donors European Commission and USaid
funded programmes and institutions and further published
a number of publications which are currently used as references in the Humanitarian & Development sectors.
Head of Corporate Banking/Human Resource:
Mr. Acinkoc Adak has Bachelor of Economic and Administration from Omdurman Ahlia University and International
Relation from Boise State University in U.S.A. Mr. Adak has
been working in the banking sector since 2001 and has
served different departments, last was the branch Manager
Qatar National Bank in South Sudan. His areas of expertise
include exceptional supervisory, analytical skills and effective communication.
Audit/Compliance Manager:
Mr. Collins Opondo has a Bachelor of Commerce Banking from Karnatak University in India. He possesses over
15 years of Financial Management, audit and taxation experience in a wide range of business enterprises including
banking, manufacturing and hospitality industries.
SUCCESS
Business Development Manager:
Dawit Berhane is a holder of a BA. Degree in Accounting from University of Asmara and several post graduate
complementary qualifications. He has served in different
capacities some of which include: - Chief Accountant, financial consultant and Business Development advisor in
several countries including Angola, Democratic Republic of
Congo, Rwanda, United Arab Emirates, Uganda and South
Sudan. He is a strong advocate and facilitator for community development, Public Private Partnership, Strategic Alliance and Joint venture developments.
Operations Manager:
Obadiah Ndolo Maluvu is a holder of a BA. Degree in Business Management from Mount Kenya University. He also
posses a certificate in Cash Management and Custodianship
from Kenya Institute of Bankers and Steller Service Training
from Achieve Global. His work experience spans more than
25 years serving among others as Operations Excellence and
Training Consultant with KCB- Rwanda, Operations Manager Nairobi Region-KCB Bank Group and several other key
positions in the same bank just to mention a few: Customer
Service Officer, Credit Operations Officer, Accounts and Reconciliation Officer. Before joining KCB, he worked as Quality
Inspection Assistant with Afro Plastics- Kenya Limited, a position which entailed Product Development/Design and Quality assurance.
With just one year since acquisition of
a licence to offer Banking services, Kush
Bank has made a lot of progress and invested enormously even within these
testing times to be positively perceived
by the both individuals and the entire
business community.
