From what vision do we operate?
Our General Vision :
Aid must be provided on time……;
Aid translates into a process that covers
the whole complexity of a client’s
situation;
Clients are absolutely aware of own
responsibility in all matters;
Clear-cut teamwork between
institutions along the aid-line is ‘conditio
sine qua non’;
Systematic Registration and Reporting is
crucial in order to measure effectiveness of the
aid rendered and to determine the appropriate
approach;
Constant evaluation of methods applied must
take place, internally as well as with clients and
all other stakeholders;
The specific management system applied should
guarantee efficiency and effectiveness of the
organization;
Our goal is not to fight crime, but to help
the individual person on his way to achieve a
better life of success and happiness !

In the aidprocess the child stands
central ;
An individual guidance plan must be
made for every child;
As long as there is not an effective
and efficient structure in the aid-line,
all institutions concerned must be
open, positive and creative to secure
the best help possible for the child in
need;
Foster families need to be chosen
with utmost care;
All foster families need but also
have a right to receive the
assistance they need, profeshonal
guidance and training;
Biological parents should contribute
in the costs of the child;
Not our ‘direct’ responsability but:
All efforts should be made towards
rebuilding a healthy relationship
between the child and its biological
family.
Among other, MOK faces the following tasks in 2009:
Recruiting and screening of foster parents;
Recruiting and screening of foster parents in
situations of crisis;
Recruiting and screening of volunteers to help in
the guidance of the foster families;
Training of foster parents and volunteers, in
different categories;
Establish the lawful rights of the foster family;
Find and contract two experienced social
workers in this specific field;
Introduce our registration system (wide open to
adapt and connect with other systems)……
