There is a wealth
of activities open
to all at Camp
Suigetsu. Try
out the ropes
confidence
course, swim
in the lake and
climb on the
iceberg (a floating
climbing wall).
Take a boat out to
view the eagle’s
nest. There are
also organized
activities
throughout the
weekend- like
arts and crafts,
softball, tennis,
flag football,
basketball, and of
course our annual
Talent Show.

Camp Suigetsu
A weekend of
Martial arts,
Healing arts,
Activities and Fun
For people of all ages!
The Concept
Fun for the entire family!
We believe what makes Camp Suigetsu special
is that we have something for everyone. There
are classes for adults, children, martial artists
and non-martial artists. During each class
session we will provide something for each
member of your group or family. Whether
you are a martial artist or not, young or old,
there will be an organized activity for you. We
invite all campers to take advantage of the
martial arts classes and activities regardless of
experience and skill level.
The Camp
Cedar Lake Camp is located 70 miles northwest
of New York City and covers 120 beautiful
wooded acres and a large lake. Lake front
activities such as boating and swimming are
included in your weekend!
Martial Arts & Healing Arts
The primary focus of
Camp Suigetsu is martial
arts training. There will
be 18 separate martial
arts and healing arts
classes for adults and
children presented by the
following highly skilled
instructors:
head instructor and coowner of Suigetsu Dojo.
Barbara Feldman is a
5th degree black belt in
Ai Mute Shotokan and a
25 yr T’ai Chi player. She
is owner of Blue Heron
Martial Arts.
Nancy Rothenberg is
the founder, director
and head instructor of
Spirit of the Heart. She
has been training and
teaching Indonesian
Kung Fu since 1985.
Linda Ramzy Ranson is
an 8th degree black belt
in Fuji Ryu Jujitsu and is
founder and CEO of the
Women’s Empowerment
Self Defense Academy.
She has been the
Marla BB is a 3rd degree
recipient of many honors
black belt in Tae Kwon Do. and awards throughout

Glenn Genovas is a 2nd
degree black belt in Jiu
Jitsu. He is trained in

Kaiden Shihan Sandaikichu in Hakkoryu Jujutsu
and Nidan in Iaido. She is

Amelia Jones is a licensed
acupuncturist, herbalist,
and martial artist.
Rik Kellerman has 30+
years in the martial
arts, primarily Hung-Ga
Kung Fu and Siu-Lurn
Hung-Kuen. He is head
instructor and owner
of Ten Tigers Kung Fu
Academy.

Teens!
Camp Suigetsu is for teens (12-21).
Participate in special activities throughout
the weekend, guaranteed to be cool!
Teens may stay in their own supervised
cabins (minimum 14 yrs old).
Scheduled Activities:
Nature walk, arts and crafts,
zip line, soccer, tennis, flag
football, Talent Show, softball, Qi Gong, early morning fitness and meditation,
stress management, theater
improv for kids, and more!
Special activities are available for 3-5 year olds.
Health and Wellness
Hakkoryu
Intensive
Arrive early Thursday
night or Friday
morning and take
advantage of 4 hours
of intensive Hakkoryu
Jujutsu training. No
additional charge for
this training (ages
12+) from 9:30am2:30pm Friday.
Housing
All cabins and rooms
have private bathrooms
and showers, multiple
electrical outlets,
overhead lighting and
screened windows.
Hotel-Style Private
Rooms: An upgraded
room of approx 200
sq ft with twin beds or
double beds housing
1-4 people; one toilet,
sink, and shower. Private
rooms are preferred
by singles, couples, or
families of 2-4 where
privacy and comfort
are most important.
Cabins: All cabins are
1000+ sq ft and contain
bunk beds for up to 20
people; multiple toilets,
sinks, and showers.
Adult-supervised group
cabins are available
for teen men and teen
women ages 14 -20.
Skilled body workers will be offering
treatments at Camp, including
acupuncture and massage. Sign-up at
