PRESENTATION TOPICS
Industry Outreach
subject to change
Understand what steps the PRCA is taking to reach new generations for Professional Rodeo and how
your committee can get involved in the process.
Sponsorships
Hear from an established, respected PRCA Rodeo Commitee Chairman on the topic of Sponsorships, specifically PRCA National Sponsorships and what is in it for your committee.
Rodeo Production
Learn from an industry leader on successful Rodeo Production proceedures and tactics. This detailed
presentation will enable your committee to implement practical and efficient proceedures and processes
to take your PRCA Rodeo to the next level.
The Rodeo Trail
Objective: Provide an opportunity for educational networking while developing effective strategies for
overall PRCA Rodeo Production. Overview: Attendees will be equally divided into 3 groups, whereas committees with 2 or more representatives will be asked to split representation to at least 2 of the 3 groups.
Each group will have a moderator/instructor whose purpose is to direct and facilitate group members.
Groups will select a “rodeo chairman” to represent the group during “spin to win” portions and will be
the lead presenter. Each group will “spin to win” for the following categories: Purse, Dates, Contract Personnel, Budget, and venue. From the selected categories, each group must formulate:
1. Committee Structure & Volunteer Organization | 2. Marketing Plan | 3. Sponsorship & Fundraising
Attendees will vote for the “Best Overall Rodeo” and winners will receive a prize courtesy of the PRCA.
Rodeo Pay
Beginning April 1, 2014 ALL PRCA Rodeo Committees will be required to participate in the PRCA RodeoPay program. Take the opportunity to hear from Kay Bleakly, PRCA Chief Operations Officer on the regulations and bennefits awaiting you as a future PRCA RodeoPay participant.
Working with Your Announcer
This unique presentation will be from both the angle of a PRCA Rodeo Announcer and PRCA Rodeo Committee that currently work together and understand how to best communicate for the bennefit of their
overall Rodeo Production.
