BDL 8 mm ’Bolt-In’ Belt Drive Kits
Engineered to handle the most brutal torque and horsepower demands.
Requires no primary case modifications to install. Features a cylindrical-shaped,
replaceable clutch dog capable of withstanding 1200 foot pounds of torque.
BDL’s steel hub design moves the clutch basket inward, eliminating unnecessary
weight hanging from the mainshaft. Barnett Kevlar clutch provides 70%
greater surface area than stock for maximum hook-up. Complete kit includes
front and rear pulleys, clutch, and a sealed primary bearing.

BDL 3"-Wide Primary Drive Kits for Kick Start
Applications
Eliminate gyroscopic imbalance and belt whipping found in many 3" drives
with a BDL drive kit that puts the inner hub a full inch further inboard than
most other belt drives. With the rear pulley further over the main shaft virtually
all instability in the primary drive is eliminated. The 8 mm pulleys are hard
anodized and use a special belt that traps less air than HTD belts. The rear
pulley has a double row bearing that supports a ‘Stressproof’ steel clutch hub.
Also included are a clutch and polished aluminum pressure plate. Safety guards
are always recommended with 3" drive systems.

4-Speed Cases
Another primary drive kit from the “Jammer” Tech boys. Developed
while putting together our “Jumpin’ Bail” bike and designed to be
used in both rigid and swingarm models, this kit gives your bike an
old school look with the benefit of electric start. To be used with
4-speed transmissions or 4, 5, or 6 speed transmissions in a 4-speed
case with no modifications required. This kit includes such items as
billet bearing support, ProFlex 4 gauge black jacket cable, BDL belt,
47 tooth front & 76 tooth rear pulleys, 5-finger clutch hub and clutch
set, starter & high-output charging system, adjustable transmission

Twins
The 2" and 3"-wide pulleys and clutch hubs are cast from 356-T6
aluminum and machined in BDL’s own foundry and machining
operation. These kits use the stock clutch hub and clutch, and include
76-tooth clutch basket and 47-tooth engine pulleys, 8mm-pitch belt,
and ‘Big Fix’ clutch hub roller bearings.

Belt to Offset Sprocket Conversion Kit for 5-Speed Big Twins
Install 150-series tires on 5-speed Big Twin models by converting from belt to chain drive.
Offset 24-tooth front sprocket and spacer moves the rear drive chain away from the tire.
The stock final drive ratio on 5-speed models is 2.1875. Installation in conjunction with
a 51-tooth rear sprocket will change the ratio to 2.125, with a 48-tooth rear sprocket it
will lower to 2.000 which is ideal for stroker motors. Fits Softail models from 86-05 when
used with 73-85 4-speed rear sprockets, and FXR models from 85-94 when used with rear
sprockets originally for FXR’s.
