Finland’s Silver Wolf was
founded by the Finnish Scout
Organiza on in April 1926 as
a common reward for both
male and female leaders.
The award became the
highest award for boy scout
organiza ons in 1935 when
the girl scout organizations
started giving Silver Swan rewards.
The first Silver Wolf was
given in 1926. The Silver Wolf
is a 78mm long wolf made of
silver. It is worn around the
neck on a 40mm wide, dark
green ribbon, which has a
yellow 3mm wide yellow line
on both ends. Also a ribbon
board is included with the Silver Wolf. The reward is numbered. This was the 127th.
