When It Comes to Your Health...
Jump in with Both Feet!
Desire to Change
PUT JAIME BRENKUS
ON YOUR TEAM. . .
Jaime Brenkus has helped millions with his 8 MINUTE Abs
workout video series. He is the
founder of Slim & FIT, a national franchise that promotes
Personal Weight Loss & Fitness,
and was featured in December’s
issue of Entrepreneur Magazine as one of the top trends in
Franchising for 2011. Jaime was
awarded a Fitness Advocate
position for the President’s
Challenge. He also designed Supermodel Kathy Ireland’s videos and authored Get Lean in
15. Jaime is the resident fitness
expert on morning show Good
Company, an NBC affiliate, in
Cleveland. He regularly appears
on TV and Radio.
Change is an all-or-nothing
proposition. Change requires
replacing a current habit with a
new one. If you want to make
any real and lasting change, you
need support and a consistent
and repetitive effort. You can’t
exercise three times one week,
once the next week, and then
take a couple of weeks off. Or,
eat fish once a week and have
fried chicken the rest of the week
and so on, and expect to reap all
the benefits.
This isn’t reality. Inconsistent efforts equal irregular results.
Why do you want to change?
What is your true desire? What
do you want the result to be? Do
you want to be healthier? Do
you want to have a lean body?
Do you want to feel better and
enjoy life more? Do you want to
look good? Do you want to relieve stress and sleep better? Do
you want to get stronger and be
more self-confident?
“Following Jaime’s program, I lost 40
pounds. It’s the only approach that gave me
long term results.”
~ Dr. Michael Scher
The “why” is probably the most
important part of the equation.
If the “why” isn’t strong enough
it’s too easy to surrender. So,
make sure your reason is sufficient motivation so you stay the
course.
blocks. Once identified you can
actively work to change them.
If that doesn’t work for you,
you can force yourself to take
certain repetitive actions until
your thought patterns change. It
works both ways.
Whatever the reason, change for
yourself not for someone else–it
needs to come from within you.
ATTITUDE
Thought patterns
If you’ve been on other weight
loss plans before and have been
unsuccessful–it’s OK. Having
setbacks are part of the process of
change. You will make mistakes,
and slip-ups will occur. Guess
what? – It’s normal.
Why do we have setbacks and
slip-ups? It’s usually our thought
patterns. Our thought patterns
initiate our actions. If you want
to change your actions, then
change your thoughts. By actively being aware of your thoughts
you can identify the thoughts
that lead to the stumbling

You must understand that change
is a marathon, not a sprint. Every
time you make a healthy choice,
you have progressed. And to get

“...Jaime’s program is truly the finest weight
management program that I have ever
recommended. It is precise, accurate and
extremely effective...The results will speak
for themselves.”
~ Dr. Michael Kellis
“I cannot recommend Slim & FIT enough... I
have changed my body from being frumpy
& middle-aged, to being strong & lean...My
only regret is I wish I would have done it 10
years ago!...”
~ Angela Overbaugh
Your attitude will directly affect
your weight loss success. It is a
constant battle between setbacks
and making healthy choices.
Every time you make a nourishing choice, you progress. When
you have a setback, dust yourself
off and get back on track. Over
time, your attitude lets you come
back stronger and more determined. Eventually, your healthy
choices exceed and replace your
setbacks.
