YABADABADOO
The band is formed by the eclectic mix of beings who call themselves "The Yabadabadoo”
which consists of Ywenna on vocals, Casey S on vocals/bass, Euntaek Kim on keys, Kachi
Chan on guitar, and Mhd Noor on drums.The music they play is wide and varied - there will
definitely be something for everyone at some point during the night.
Ywenna is a pianist/vocalist actively performed at various live music venues and festivals in
Asia with gutsy versatility in several genres of music.she has released two instrumental albums
and has toured and performed in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, China, Korea,
Australia and South Africa
CASEY - a multi talented musician has played with famous artists and musicians in the industry,
including Malaysian songstresses Shelia Majid and Siti Nurhaliza. He has also performed and
shared stages with Lady Rebecca (USA), Dave Koz (USA), The Brahmas (INDIA), Steve Thornton
(USA); backed Asian superstars such as Ah Mei, David Tao, Lee Hom as well as performed in
various music festivals in the region.
Euntaek is a studio and live session pianist/keyboardist based in Singapore, fluent in various
genres of music ranging from pop to jazz. Currently he performs regularly with RnB/Soul group
Fuze Collective led by vocalist Fendi Sahid, as well as Melbourne-based artist Charlie Lim, who
recently completed a tour across Asia.
YABADABADOO
With 20 years of performance experiences under his belt, Kachi Chan displays a gutsy
versatility in any genre of music. He actively performs in English/Chinese music scene in
Singapore, started in 1990s when he performed with one of Singapore’s best-known local
talent, Terence Castillo (nephew of the great Tony Castillo),subsequently landed gigs for
TV shows ( channel 8 ) and played in concerts for local Singaporean chinese artists such
as Tanya Chua,Jack Neo, Mark Lee, Stephanie Sun, Fann Wong, Eric Moo, mediacorp
artists,and Taiwanese artist Harlem Yu.
Mohamed Noor – a multi talented percussionist and drummer started his music career at
the age of 5. He has performed in many music festivals including-Asean Jazz Fest
(MALAYSIA). HEINEKEN Jazz (SINGAPORE) BIG BANG Percussion Fest (LONDON)
Mosaic Fest , Singapore Arts Festival and many more around the world. Mohamed has
also work with many great international musicians like- Gypsy Kings, Randy Crawford,
Eric Mariental, Sheila Majid, Dennis Chambers, Jeremy Monteiro, International Jazz
Legendary Toots Thielemans, Paulinho Garcia, Greg Fishman and the list goes on. He is
also a member of Latin Jazz band “Appasionata“ and fusion band “Asiana” lead by
International Pianist Jeremy Monteiro.
