Home Equity Loans: Low-Cost, Tax-Advantaged Credit
If credit card payments are eating up your disposable income each month, or if you need cash to remodel your kitchen, pay
tuition - a home equity loan might be your best bet.
With a home equity loan you borrow a lump sum of money repayable over a fixed term, usually five
to fifteen years, giving you the security of a locked-in rate and a consistent monthly payment.
People tend to use home equity loans for large, one-time expenses like a major home-improvement
project. You also might use one to start a business, make a big ticket purchase, pay school tuition,
or consolidate high-interest credit card debt. This type of loan makes sense if you don’t foresee
future borrowing needs.
There’s also a tax advantage. Unlike almost any other consumer loan type, the interest on a home
equity loan is likely to be tax-deductible. (Always contact your tax advisor to be sure)
Spojnia Credit Union offers a home equity loan with 5, 10 and 15 year terms. The credit union will
loan 85% of the appraised value minus any first mortgage. Rates as low as 3.25%. There is a $100.00 non-refundable application fee. No Closing Costs! Contact Marilyn or Debbie at 570-344-1513 and take advantage of a home equity loan with Spojnia
Credit Union.
Spojnia Credit Union to offer a 6 (six) year term for a New Vehicle Loan
Spojnia Credit Union has extended our new vehicle loan up to 6 years. You can now
purchase a new vehicle and extend the payments to 72 months. Requirements are:
•
A completed loan application with proof of income!
•
A $200.00 pledge!
•
A bill of sale from the auto dealer!
For rates or additional information contact the credit union at 570-344-1513 or visit the
website at www.spojniacreditunion.org. Rates subject to change without prior notice.
