Growing Faith Classes
NEXT SUNDAY!
Attention Growing Faith Members!
Summer is almost over and its time to get back into the swing of
things. Our Fall class will be starting on Wednesday September
16th. We will meet in the Romero Room from 9-11am each
week. For anyone interested in joining us for some lively
discussions on the readings for each Sunday here is your
chance to get in on the fun! Just show up for the class, no registration needed. Bring a notepad, pen and an open heart. The
Holy Spirit will do the rest. If you have questions you can call
Marti Fleming at 850-2477 or email at [email protected]. I’ll
be happy to get you included in our little group!

Sister Shiroma, a Salvatorian Sister from Sri Lanka will be visiting us here at Most Holy Trinity next weekend. Sr. Shiroma
works to fight human trafficking as well as supports a children’s
home that was started after the tsunami that hit Sri Lanka. A
special collection will be taken up for the children’s home next
weekend at all masses.
Adult RCIA
Our adult RCIA program is in need of volunteers to help
coordinate and facilitate this year’s program. If you are interested in helping people learn and grow in their Catholic faith please
contact the office at 520-884-9021 as soon as possible.

Adult Confirmation
Baptism Committee
Adult Confirmation classes will be starting soon. If you are an
active Catholic who was baptized and received First Communion but have never been confirmed, these classes are for you!
Classes start on Monday September 28th & run for 8 weeks.
Confirmation will take place on November 23rd at the Cathedral.
We will need a copy of your baptismal and communion
certificates. Cost is $75. Please contact the office to register.
The baptism committee is in need of additional help. Mass
coordinators, parent baptism trainers, and parent interviewers are all needed. This is a fun and important ministry
dealing with new babies and their families. If you are interested in helping or would like more information please

SCRIPTURE STUDY: A study of the Book of Revelation
will begin every Friday from 10 AM to 11:30 AM starting
September 18th in Room 1. Please bring your Bible and
pen and paper if you want to take notes. Handouts will be

Food Pantry

you whom have donated non-perishable food items to
MHT’s Food Pantry. Several families have received a little
extra help due to this ministry. Please remember them in
your prayers and MHT is grateful for your ongoing compassion. If you know of anyone who could benefit from our
pantry, please have them contact Vicki Myers at the office.
Soup Patrol
Most Holy Trinity’s Soup Patrol is one of our largest and busiest ministries here at the parish. With the fall
months fast approaching we are starting to get things in motion for this coming year of soup deliveries.
We would like to get things started early this year to ensure everyone has gone through the proper processes
and trainings. If you are interested in joining this wonderful ministry please fill out the
information below and send it to us in the parish office or bring it by.

The Pastoral council met at a retreat on Saturday
August 22nd. The focus of the morning was on where we
have been and where we are going. There will be more
news and updates on upcoming activities. One of our goals
is to improve communication with the
members of the parish so there will be monthly updates in
