Site F1 - Organicfest at O’Brienview Organic Farm
Tour a certified organic family farm that raises Berkshire
Pigs, Belgian Blue crossbred cattle, chickens & ducks. Meet
the O’Brien family & learn about certified organic farming
as they teach you about the animals & crops they raise as
well as the methods used to produce their products. Stock
your freezer with beef & pork; large & small orders are
welcome. Many different cuts & assortments available:
sausage, steaks, roasts, ribs, bacon, ham, pork chops, meat
pies as well as a variety of fresh vegetables.

of Hwy 121 junction, go west at Powles Corners onto
Powles Rd., turn north onto Country Lane. From the north,
take Glenarm Rd. to Country Lane (at the Hydro yard). Turn

Site F2 – Beeffest at Hardy Country Farm
At Hardy Country Farm we specialize in natural pastureraised beef. Steve will share his knowledge of raising
calves as visitors enjoy a hay ride. Children experience
face-painting by Marian, crafts and games. Visit Blake’s
BBQ stand featuring hamburgers & sausages. This year,
Chainsaw Artist, Andy Munro will be demonstrating his
craft using cedar rails from our farm.

Site F5 - Horsefest at Valentia Equine Retraining
Centre
Valentia Equine Retraining Centre, a registered Not for
Profit, is an establishment providing a second chance for
retired race horses who are unwanted or injured. We will
have designed a maze for the little children out of hay
bales, Heidi-Hi-Ho the clown, balloon animals, plus crafts
and activities. Pony rides, hot dogs, hamburgers & drinks
will be available for an additional fee. Most exhibits are
wheelchair accessible. Public washroom is available.

Site F6 - Pumpkinfest at Stellmar Farm
Come see our giant pumpkins and visit our craft shed. Our
farm features a wide selection of pumpkins, squash, gourds,
dried flowers, wreaths, fall crafts, gourd art, decorative corn,
preserves & tasty pumpkin bread. Try your hand at
pumpkin painting & guessing the weight of a giant
pumpkin. Enjoy samples of pumpkin bread & warm cider,
perhaps even learn the secret behind growing the giant
pumpkins! Wheelchair accessible & washroom available.

Site F7 - Veggiefest at Lunar Rhythm Gardens
You will see our Rare Breed Corriedale sheep with lambs,
spinning demo & have a chance to try your own hand at
spinning. We have rovings & fleeces available. See our
honeybee yard & the honey room. Kids can collect freerange brown eggs from nest boxes. See our rooftop solar
project. Frozen lamb, honey & eggs for sale.

We have a 5 acre vegetable farm dedicated to growing 75
varieties of vegetables with high tunnels and
greenhouses, powered by Calvin, Peg, Mr. Grey & Lenny, four
heavy draft horses. Find out about our Community Shared
Agriculture (CSA) vegetable garden program. We also have
a beef cow/calf operation, pigs, miniature horses, meat
chickens and laying hens that everyone can visit. Fresh
organic produce will be available for purchase. There will be
farm tours of the garden and animals. See the new cold
storage building with a greenhouse and vegetable wash
station, and sign up for our Winter CSA.

Site F8 - Blueberryfest at Wilson’s Fresh Blueberries
Site F3 – Sheepfest at Crow Hill Farm
Visit a working family farm with 90 free-range laying hens,
82 grass-fed beef cows and calves. A display of tractors,
planting and harvesting equipment will be available. The
farm produces beef, chicken and eggs and has a ground
mount solar panel.
Ongoing: Livestock & poultry farm tour; eggs (while
supplies last) and meat chickens will be available for sale.

We have four acres of blueberry bushes planted in the field
and thousands more in the nursery, plus haskap and cherry
bushes. Learn about planting these bushes for yourself as
edible landscaping. Tour the blueberry field and edible
lanscaping nursery. Learn about our efforts to grow
sustainably, without pesticides. Sample blueberry and
haskap treats. Frozen blueberries for sale. Blueberry crafts
for kids.

Site A4 - KL Community Sale Barn Inc.
One of the busiest livestock auctions in the province with a
new country kitchen restaurant & large farmers’ market
with everything from fresh local fruit, vegetables & maple
syrup to clothing, woodwork, furniture & farm supplies.
Featuring three live auctions starting at 9:00 am and
continuing all day until all active sale rings have finished
selling their livestock & farm items.
