The conference, hosted by the Kin Club of Florenceville, will be held June 9-12, 2016 at the Best Western Plus in Woodstock, NB. The Kin Club of Florenceville, together with your DEC, have been very busy planning for District Convention. The weekend will be packed with collaboration, celebration, and a lot of fun. We hope that you will put this on your busy schedules and plan to attend. The early registration deadline date is May 21st, at a cost of $185.00 per person, after which it will increase to $210.00. A variety of resolutions are being brought forward for District Convention 2016 and have been included with this Official Call. As such, it is extremely important that all clubs have their accredited delegate form completed and submitted to our Credentials Chair for District Convention, Gerard MacKenzie. For clubs submitting for awards, please review the deadlines to ensure you meet the requirements. The deadlines are listed in the Awards booklet which can be found on the Kin Canada Atlantic District 7 Website. Also, as a reminder, all service dollars must be submitted to the District Treasurer before May 31st to be included in this year’s Service totals featured at District Convention. Clubs are also reminded to ensure they have completed their online service reporting for all club projects to date, so they can be included in our National totals. Opening ceremonies will take place Thursday evening, our business meeting starts Friday morning, with our Speak Off competition scheduled for Friday afternoon and the First Timers’ Reception Friday evening before the Service Banquet.
