CYCLIC MOVEMENT ENDURANCE TEST
– General requirement ; a doorset shall subjected to 100,000 cycles of
continuous opening and closing
– Test specimen; doorset of 2100mm(H) × 1000mm(W) constructed exactly
as that for fire resistance test
– Procedure:
• Before the test, self closure system (door closer) shall be adjusted to
bring the door to the closed position in 4 to 6 seconds
• Opening of not less than 75° but not more than 90°
• After completion of test, doorset shall be capable of closing properly,
maintaining all clearance, show no wear or damage on any parts that
may impair its reliability of functioning
