This walkabout straddles the line between Ballston (west) and Virginia
Square (east), with N. Quincy St. the divider. Between Metro stations,
I-66, the sectors’ two main streets and the three urban trails that connect
into the community, you will find many options for accessing the sites.
Virginia Square has long served as an educational, cultural and
recreational hub of Arlington. In addition to the destinations along this
walk, be sure and also check out the nearby Arlington Arts Center on
Wilson Boulevard at N. Monroe St.
Ballston, the County's west-end downtown, is growing by leaps and
bounds. Some of Arlington's tallest office and residential buildings are
here, as well as many fine hotels and restaurants.
