From the President:
Three tickets remain for the Harbor Cruise coming up on July 26, 2013. Details are in newsletter. Happy hour on Friday before
cruise at Harbor Breeze Restaurant starting at 5:30. Happy hour prices according to the owner. Old Point Grill at Omar Shrine
for those not familiar with the new name. Will do email blast closer to all the events. This will be a big weekend with cruise on
Friday from 7:30PM to 9:30PM. Yes I am getting it changed to help coral everyone at happy hour and be ready to go to the
boat. This will also help those coming from out of town. Fun on the beach Saturday in front of Windjammer on IOP
starting at about 11:00 AM. Happy hour Saturday night at Buddy Roe’s starting about 6:00. Would be helpful to tell me if you
are going to the beach, Buddy Roe’s or both. Even if you are not going to the cruise GCSC members are invited to the other
functions. So if you are interested you need to contact me for one of the last three tickets or tell me of interest in other events.
Trips for upcoming ski season are on line.
Help the club and become a volunteer. We need new faces and fresh ideas. Need a membership chair badly. Start looking at
what you can do to help the club continue to be maintained. Many officers and board members have been serving in different
positions for many years. We need new faces to step up. We need a new newsletter editor.
Any suggestions please contact any board member.
