Vintage Bugeye Race Car for Sale 1960 Bugeye raced consistently since 1968 in VSCDA, RMVR and CVAR, with incremental improvements producing regular podium, feature and pole positions at Hallett, Hastings, Grattan and Gingerman through the 2015 season. Current engine is a 1275cc Kent Prather build from Dec 2013 with 6 race weekends. Dyno results 140+ hp. Transmission is a JSR dog box new in 2013. System One oil filter, Ron Davis Tom Colby design aluminum radiator, Mallory + MSD + Pertronix ignition, jet-­‐coated header and Gregg Rodgers designed oval exhaust. Newer Fuel Safe cell, newer SPA fire bottle, newer Accusump, Kirkey seat with newer belts, Personal removable steering wheel, Weber, dual throttle cables, Panasport wheels and Hoosier tires (with ca 15 heat cycles). Tilton triple master cylinders with adjustable bias. Huge baffled oil pan, hardened front spindles, hardened rear double-­‐bearing hubs, Moroso 7/16 studs, Mark Williams hardened axles, aerodynamic windscreen. Winners Circle Panhard bar, recently balanced driveshaft, recently rebuilt shocks. Many trick features to facilitate maintenance. Currently fitted with a fiberglass bonnet, but would come with the original steel bonnet as well.
