Debido a que el Proyecto de Mejoramiento en el Intercambio
14A continúa en proceso, informamos a los peatones a cerca
de una importante medida de seguridad que se llevará a cabo
durante las próximas semanas.
As construction on the Interchange 14A Improvement Project
continues to progress, we want to let you know about an important
safety issue for pedestrians in the coming weeks.
El paso peatonal del Puente Conector (Puente desde la Caseta
de Peaje hasta Port Jersey Boulevard) en Port Jersey Boulevard
queda estrictamente prohibido. Para prevenir cualquier accidente
durante la construcción, se han colocado señalamientos en
ambos extremos del Puente Conector para informar a los
peatones que no se permite atravesar el Puente caminando.
Esta restricción se aplicará rigurosamente.
Con la finalidad de ayudar al público durante la etapa de
construcción, se implementará un servicio de bus colectivo
disponible de Lunes a Viernes entre las 6:00am y las 9:00am y
entre las 3:00pm y las 6:00pm. Las paradas se localizarán en
las calles Broadway y 55th Street y en Industrial Avenue.
Pedestrian usage of the Connector Bridge (Bridge from the Toll
Plaza to Port Jersey Boulevard) to and from Port Jersey Boulevard
is strictly prohibited. To prevent injury during construction, signs
have been placed at both ends of the Connector Bridge to notify
pedestrians that they are not permitted to cross the Bridge on
foot. This restriction will be strictly enforced.
In order to assist the public during construction, a shuttle
bus service will be available from 6:00am to 9:00am,
and 3:00pm to 6:00pm weekdays with bus stops at
Broadway & 55th Street, as well as Industrial Avenue & Port
Jersey Boulevard.
