Using the Tuition Assistance Application Website
We provide eligible employees with excellent
tuition assistance benefits. We cover tuition for
employees enrolled in:
• Degree programs – up to $8,000 per calendar
year for full-time employees and $4,000 for
part-time employees.
• Non-degree programs – up to $5,250 in a
calendar year for full-time employees and
$2,625 for part-time employees.
Our Tuition Assistance Application website simplifies the
application process. Using the site is easy! This brochure
walks you through the steps to:

• Submit your grades from current courses –
Submit proof of grades using the Processing
Request From, which can be found on the website.
If you have any questions you can contact Customer Service by
calling 1-800-326-7614, Monday – Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00
p.m. EST. Educational institutions have the option to call
Monday – Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. EST.
Logging in to the Tuition Assistance Website
Five easy steps for logging in to the website:

When you access the site, this is what you will see:
3. First-time users – Enter your UPHS network login (the same
username and password you use to log into your computer). If you
have trouble logging in, contact Edcor at 1-800-326-7614.
4. Select “Start a New Application Here” from the middle of the page.
5. Review the “Create a New Application – Checklist” then click
on “Proceed”
Important Reminder before Applying for Tuition Assistance
Understand Your Tax Obligation
Taxes will be applied in accordance with IRS regulations, Pennsylvania and New Jersey income tax laws
and Philadelphia wage tax laws. Taxing takes place through your payroll immediately after payment
is made to the school. Go to www.trackmystatus.com and confirm when your payment has been made
to the school so you are aware when your taxes will be deducted from your paycheck. For more information
on your tax obligations, go to the Edcor website and select the “Tuition Assistance Information” link.

10 Steps to Completing Your Application
After you have logged on and reviewed your pre-application checklist,
complete your online application.
1. Enter your School Student ID located on your student ID card and
grade report.
2. Select your degree type (for example, Doctorate, Masters, Post Masters
Nurse Practitioner Program, etc.) from the drop-down menu

You can find the UPHS Tuition Assistance Policy on the website under the
“Tuition Assistance Information” tab or access it from the UPHS intranet site

Important Reminder before Completing Your Application
Load Your Letter of Admission
If you are pursuing a degree (for example, Bachelors or Masters) aligned with your current or future job
opportunities, you must load your Letter of Admission on the website. If there is no letter on file, you will
only receive the maximum benefit allowed under the non-degree program.

3. Select “yes” or “no” to signify whether or not you have previously completed a Degree
program that was paid for by UPHS.
4. Find your major – Select “Major Search” and enter your major in the provided field.
Then, select your specific major from the list provided.
5. Find your school – Select “School Search” and enter your school’s name and the state
in which it is located. Then, select your school from the list provided.

Enter your Term’s Start and End Dates by selecting dates from the
drop-down calendars.
Refer to your course information (i.e., Course Number, Course Name,
Course Credits, etc.) and enter it into the fields provided. Make sure this
information is accurate, otherwise it will delay all payments to your school.
Enter your other UPHS eligible course-related fees in the Other Fees field.
Total Requested is your “Total Cost” of the course fees combined with your
other course fees.
10. Complete your application by clicking “Proceed.”

After You Complete the 10-Step Process
• Your manager will receive an e-mail to verify that you are eligible for tuition assistance.
• If your manager approves your application, you will be sent an e-mail instructing you to print your voucher.
• Your voucher will have detailed billing instructions for the school. It is your responsibility to present the
voucher letter to the school. The school will then fax your voucher along with your student bill for payment.
The fax number is 1-248-283-8723.
You can track the status of your application through www.trackmystatus.com. To access the site, you will
need the 16-digit tracking number assigned to your application. If you need additional assistance, you can
call 1-800-326-7614 to speak with an Edcor representative.
Don’t forget to submit your grades
Grades are required to be submitted within 60 days of the end of the class. You will receive email reminders
at 30 and 60 days after the class ends. Submitting proof is a two-step process:
1. Go into your application via the Edcor website and enter your grade.
2. You must submit proof of grades received by using the Processing Request Form (PRF) as a coversheet. Your
PRF can be found on https://uphs.tap.edcor.com. Grades should be on school letterhead and your name
should be clearly listed. These documents must be faxed to Edcor at 1-248-283-8723, using the PRF as your
coversheet. You can verify receipt within 24 hours by accessing www.trackmystatus.com using the 16-digit
tracking number assigned to the application. You also have the option of using the Edcor website to upload
proof of your grade.
