Amherst Village Visual Preference Survey
25 questions about the future
of Amherst Village
Amherst Village TOMORROW is a strategic planning process for the Amherst Village area. It is a project
of the Amherst Board of Selectmen with advisory support provided by the Nashua Regional Planning
Commission.
What is a Visual Preference Survey?
A visual Preference Survey helps communities to guide development by identifying the amenities and
features they would like to see in the future. It allows community members to voice their preferences
about the features depicted in the images. In this case, the Visual Preference Survey will provide Amherst stakeholders with a broad range of options to depict their vision for the future of Amherst Village.
How will the results be used?
The Amherst Village Strategic Planning Team will utilize extensive public outreach to seek input from
numerous groups, town boards, and residents. The input will be analyzed to identify the most pressing
issues facing Amherst Village and prioritize strategies to address them.
