Wyatt Pope is a seven year old first grader at Mountain Park Elementary in East Cobb. He is an
excellent student who plays baseball, competes in youth wrestling, loves his PS4, collects baseball
cards and WWE action figures.
Wyatt was diagnosed in February with Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumor (DSRCT), an aggressive
malignant neoplasm that occurs in adolescents and young adults and is an extremely rare form of
cancer. Wyatt is undergoing chemotherapy and will need additional procedures outside Atlanta.
While he is fighting, his family, friends, and community are building a strong army behind him.
With friends, family, baseball and wrestling communities and nearly 3,000 East Cobbers
following him on FaceBook, #WyWyStrong, we now need your help.
On Monday, August 15th, Tavola Restaurant has generously opened their doors for a Silent Auction
to raise money for the Pope family. The community continues to want to help this amazing family.
With increasing medical costs, the event will provide a fun way to raise money while bidding on amazing
prizes. All proceeds from the raffle will go directly to the Pope Family to assist with Wyatt’s medical bills.
