Ariel Owners, Riders and Enthusiasts!
From the Hen House A Late Winter’s Cheep Jenny Owen As we roll past the holidays, I find we haven’t been rolling on two wheels very much at all. Ongoing restorations on the BSA 441, B50T, complete brake job on Roni’s car, and rear end work on the 55 wagon, has left us light in the “fun money” department. We did have a great time at the Holiday party, hosted by the Nevarez gang. Always good to spread that Christmas cheer and enjoy a great sandwich, hope you made it. That is the last time we’ll meet at Sandwich City because they sold the business. Anybody have ideas for a host and venue for next year? You can always contact any Board member (or me) and we’ll get the word out. We do have lots of shenanigans planned for 2013. The BSA’s All Clubman show is the 1st week of April, is an annual pilgrimage for us. Elections are coming up, why not throw your hat in the ring and enjoy a volunteer moment or two? We’re waiting to hear about the Washington Vintage Club’s plan for their rally; we had a blast last year. The huge Mid-Ohio show will be here before you know it. John Havel has represented the club there with zest and zeal, energetic fellow he is! Perry has always wanted to attend and maybe he’ll get the chance this year. Tom Voss has planned a brand new event, “The Heartland Rally.” If you went to Sonora, then you know he and Linda plan it up right with excursions and sightseeing opportunities and –bring the significant other and enjoy. Then back around to the annual fall rally and Founder’s ride. As you can see there are plenty of good times ahead, come out and enjoy! Better yet, run for a Director’s position and laissez les bons temps rouler! Ariel Owners, Riders and Enthusiasts!
