Battery and Fan Systems
Battery / Charger Connections:
Fan Box System:
If you remove the charging cable from the battery terminals, verify positive and negative polarity
prior to reconnection. Failure to do so will cause a short circuit and possibly personal injury.
Charge batteries for 12 hours prior to first use.

Charging Connections:
The vortex wall charger has two
connectors in order to charge one or
two batteries at the same time.
The connectors are designed to only
plug together one way, trying to force
the connections together will cause a
short circuit in the charging system.

Battery and Fan Box
Installation:
At this point, bunkers should be staked
down or weights placed inside the
bunker.
Insert fan box into bunker via the
Velcro®® opening and attach the front
of fan box to the mesh opening inside
the bunker.
Next, connect the battery to the fan
connector plug. The connectors can
only be plugged in one way in order to
prevent short circuits. Do not force
the plugs together.
Once battery is connected and fan is
running, close the Velcro® opening and
the bunker will self inflate.

Cleaning and Care:
Use a wet cloth to clean any paintball residue
from the bunkers as needed. Warm water
and dish soap works great for cleaning any
stubborn stains that may occur.
All vortex bunkers are machine washable
using gentle detergent and a Gentle Cycle
wash. DO NOT machine dry. Let them air
dry for best results. We do not recommend
over washing bunkers. Bunkers should be
machine washed only if they really need it.
Avoiding machine washing will extend the life
of the bunker material.
*remove fan box, battery and mesh screen
prior to machine washing.

Repairs:
To repair a hole in the Vortex bunkers, it is
best to use an industrial strength spray
adhesive and a scrap piece of bunker
material.
Spray the patch piece with adhesive and let it
sit until tacky (2 minutes), place patch piece
on the INSIDE of the bunker covering the hole
completely and apply pressure for 20-30
seconds.
Let the patch adhere 12 hours prior to using
the bunker.
