RENAISSANCE - The “rebirth” of public golf in Dallas. Favor the right side of the fairway to avoid a tall pecan tree protecting this beautiful green setting. WOLFARD HOLLOW - Weibring/GRI’s lead architect, Steve Wolfard, created a gem of a par 3 surrounded by trees. Overhanging branches could drop your ball into the left bunker. GRAND VISTA - First great view from the Highlands and a challenge for even the longest hitters. Fairway provides a generous landing area but narrows over the creek to set up your approach to our smallest green. FORE EVER - Alternate tee boxes allow variety on this long par 4. Avoid the fairway bunker on the left to have any chance to reach this large green. SENTRY OAK - A beautiful par 3 surrounded by trees and guarded by a magnificent bur oak Be satisfied with a tee shot to the center of the green. BRAVEHEART - A creek and four bunkers will test your bravery as you do battle with this reachable par 5. Drive close to fairway bunker for the best angle to the green. Don’t let the sand capture your approach. TEMPTATION - Short, tempting and dangerous. Potentially driveable par 4 offers the ultimate risk/reward decision. Time to play to the strength of your game. LOCH NESS - A tee shot favoring the right side of the fairway avoids the peril of the lake off the tee. Is the danger real or imagined? AMBUSH - Try to keep your tee shot close to fairway bunkers on the left. Your second shot must negotiate a chinkapin oak tree lying in wait for all errant shots just short of the green. tenisonpark.com Rules of Play • USGA Rules will govern all play. • Out of bounds defined by white stakes, boundary fences, and streets. • Sprinkler head distances are laser accurate to the center of the green. • Yardage markers on the cart paths are: Yellow (250), Blue (200), White (150), Red (100). • Flag colors denote pin location: Red-front, White-middle, Yellow-back. • All players must have their own bag and clubs: rental clubs are available in the clubhouse. • Please keep your receipt throughout your round. • Tenison Park is a “soft-spike” facility. • Appropriate golf attire is required. • Alcoholic Beverages may not be brought onto or removed from the course: Texas State law. • Please play “Ready Golf” (hit when ready). • Local Rule: You may play densely wooded areas as lateral hazards on holes 1, 2, 3, 6, 8, 15, 16 and 17. • Carts must stay on cart path at all times on all par 3’s: holes 2, 5, 13, 17, and 7. • Please keep carts off the street. • No personal coolers allowed. Green wraps around an inviting bunker. CROSSROADS - Drive long down the left side for the best view into this dogleg right hole. The road to birdie carries you over the fairway bunker on your second and turns into a picturesque green. DEAD AIM - A classic driving hole. Keep your drive in the fairway to have a chance at tough pin placements behind either bunker protecting the green. AUGUSTA - A beautiful par 3 is the beginning of a great finish at Tenison Highlands. Sycamore trees frame your tee shot to a two-level green sitting on the edge of the lake. Short is not an option. COTTON BOWL - Drive from a chute of cottonwood trees to a receptive fairway. Bowl shaped green setting frames uphill approach to a split-level green set in the Highlands. MONET - Photo opportunity. Two fairway bunkers on the right put the final touches on one of Mother Nature’s masterpieces. Pretty as a painting! WHISPERING OAKS - Listen as the leaves tell you this could be the last birdie opportunity. Take advantage with a drive up the left side. Go for it over the right fairway bunker or lay up short of the left bunker. BOBCAT CROSSING - Angled green favors left to right tee shot. You might catch a glimpse of a bobcat crossing your path into the woods. WEIBRING VALLEY - D.A. may have saved the best challenge for last with this strong par 4. Drive close to fairway bunker for the best view to a well-bunkered green tucked into the hillside.
